SNAPTIC is an upcoming physics-based puzzle-platformer that turns an offline laptop into a world to explore. What is SNAPTIC?
SNAPTIC is a single-player puzzle-platformer from developer and publisher SNAPTIC LLC. Its setting is an abandoned or offline laptop: rather than using a computer as a simple backdrop, the game sends Anon through a digital environment built around old cache files, chat logs and camcorder footage. The mystery asks why the network shut down and whether Anon’s friends can be saved from being forgotten. 80 Level describes the objective as figuring out the Wi-Fi password to reconnect with them.

Movement is part of the puzzle-solving. Anon can turn into a marble and magnetize himself to surfaces, giving the game a physics-based approach to navigating its laptop world. In an article published on 2 October 2026, 80 Level reported that the developer cited PS1-era games, Frutiger Aero and nostalgic home videos as visual inspirations. Motion graphics and graphic design are also central to the art direction. Together, those references point to a deliberately constructed early-digital look rather than a straightforward recreation of a particular operating system.

80 Level also reported a stretch goal involving real camcorder footage with actors, framed as material characters might discover while searching computer files. That is a reported plan, not confirmation that the footage will appear in the released game. The article’s description of the story as “surprisingly emotional” is editorial wording, not an attributable quote from a named developer.
When is SNAPTIC coming out, and what platforms are listed?
Steam currently lists SNAPTIC as “To be announced” and says it is not yet available. The store page identifies Windows PC as the platform and lists Windows 10 64-bit as the minimum operating system. The specifications below are those on the Steam listing; they may change before release.

What happened with the Kickstarter?
80 Level reported on 2 October 2026 that SNAPTIC reached 240% of its Kickstarter funding goal in two days. The same article named expanded localization, console ports, an animated intro and camcorder footage among the campaign’s stretch goals. The Kickstarter campaign page is available at SNAPTIC by snaptic, but its detailed campaign content was not readable in the reviewed source view. The reported milestone therefore does not establish whether the campaign is still open or whether any particular stretch goal has since been achieved.
