The chips also differ in CPU design, graphics, memory, and 5G integration. Those results are useful reference points, not a guarantee that every Exynos 2100 phone will outperform every Snapdragon 855 phone: the device, software, cooling, and workload matter.

How the benchmark averages compare
NanoReview’s comparison page displays these averages for the two processors. It lists 40 AnTuTu samples for Exynos 2100 and 39 for Snapdragon 855; it does not state a publication year for the figures.
| Benchmark | Exynos 2100 | Snapdragon 855 |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 11 total | 1,065,369 | 824,513 |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 1,435 | 968 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 3,555 | 2,731 |
These are averages displayed by NanoReview’s dynamic comparison page, accessed October 7, 2026—not scores published by AnTuTu or Geekbench as a controlled chip-to-chip test. The page includes user submissions and notes that game frame rates can vary by game version, operating system, and other factors. Avoid treating its values as expected results for a specific handset.

What the specifications mean in practice
CPU design and process
The Exynos 2100’s listed Cortex-X1 main core reaches 2.9 GHz, while the Snapdragon 855 announcement lists a Kryo 485 prime core up to 2.84 GHz and separate performance and efficiency tiers. Clock speed alone does not determine overall CPU performance: the core designs, workload, and phone’s operating limits also shape results.
The Exynos 2100 uses Samsung’s 5 nm EUV process, compared with Qualcomm’s 7 nm specification for Snapdragon 855. Samsung said its process enabled up to 20% lower power consumption or 10% higher performance relative to Samsung’s 7 nm predecessor. That is a comparison with Samsung’s prior-generation process, not a direct Snapdragon 855 result. A smaller process label by itself does not establish a phone’s battery life.

Graphics and memory
Snapdragon 855 uses Adreno 640; Exynos 2100 uses Mali-G78. Samsung specifies LPDDR5 memory bandwidth of 51.2 GB/s for the Exynos 2100, while Qualcomm’s announcement specifies LPDDR4x for Snapdragon 855. These differences describe platform capabilities, but GPU names and peak memory bandwidth do not reveal sustained gaming performance in a particular phone. Cooling, firmware, power limits, game version, and graphics settings can change the outcome.
Recommended Free Tools
Qualcomm’s claim that Adreno 640 provides up to 20% faster graphics was made against the previous generation, not the Exynos 2100. Samsung also cautions that actual Exynos 2100 performance may vary with device and user environment.

5G and platform features
Qualcomm describes Snapdragon 855 5G capability alongside the Snapdragon X50 modem option; a phone’s network support depends on how its manufacturer implemented the platform. Samsung describes the Exynos 2100 as having an integrated 5G modem for sub-6 GHz and mmWave. Check the exact handset’s regional specifications and supported bands rather than assuming every phone using a chip has the same connectivity.
The AI figures are also vendor-stated capabilities, not directly comparable benchmark scores: Qualcomm announced more than 7 trillion operations per second for Snapdragon 855 in 2018, while Samsung listed 26 TOPS for Exynos 2100 in 2021. Samsung’s stated camera support of up to 200 megapixels refers to ISP capability; it does not guarantee that a phone has a 200 MP camera.

Which is better for gaming or everyday use?
The available benchmark averages favor Exynos 2100, but they do not establish a universal winner in games or daily use. A sustained game session can expose differences in phone cooling and power limits that a short benchmark does not. For a useful device-level comparison, look for results from the exact phone models, the same game or benchmark version, comparable graphics settings, and similar test conditions.

How to read comparisons responsibly
- Keep benchmark versions matched: AnTuTu 11 and Geekbench 6 results should not be compared as if they were the same test or interchangeable with scores from other versions.
- Distinguish manufacturer specifications and claims from third-party averages. Qualcomm’s and Samsung’s advertised capabilities are not independent head-to-head measurements.
- Compare complete phones, not only processor names, when choosing between used or older flagship devices. Cooling design, firmware, regional modem configuration, and power limits are part of the result.
- Do not confuse Snapdragon 855 with Snapdragon 855 Plus. Qualcomm lists the Plus separately with different clock specifications.
