In 91mobiles’ reported tests, the Snapdragon 778G scores higher than the Dimensity 7025 Ultra in overall AnTuTu and Geekbench CPU results. That points to stronger results for the tested Snapdragon-equipped phone, not a guaranteed advantage in every handset. For a purchase, compare the exact phones’ gaming behavior, battery life, features, software support and price—not chipset scores alone.
How the benchmark results compare
91mobiles attributes the following figures to its device tests. The comparison page was accessed in 2026; its retrieved text does not establish an original publication year. Treat the numbers as results from the tested devices rather than universal chip scores.

| Test | Snapdragon 778G | Dimensity 7025 Ultra |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu total | 587,520 | 486,435 |
| AnTuTu CPU | 204,740 | 162,694 |
| AnTuTu GPU | 138,179 | 78,302 |
| AnTuTu memory | 129,747 | 108,849 |
| AnTuTu UX | 114,854 | 136,590 |
| Geekbench single-core | 1,022 | 950 |
| Geekbench multi-core | 2,957 | 2,276 |
The Snapdragon leads the listed total AnTuTu score and both Geekbench CPU tests. The Ultra scores higher in the AnTuTu UX subscore, which represents user-experience-related tasks in that benchmark. AnTuTu combines CPU, GPU, memory and UX categories; the total is not a direct measure of how fast every app feels.
A separate NanoReview comparison reports AnTuTu 11 averages of 783,606 for Snapdragon 778G and 668,462 for the base Dimensity 7025, based on 113 and 30 samples respectively. Its Geekbench 6 figures are 1,017 and 969 single-core, and 2,943 and 2,321 multi-core, based on 68 and 10 samples. These figures use different benchmark versions and refer to the base Dimensity 7025—not explicitly the Ultra—so they should not be merged with the 91mobiles results or treated as Ultra scores. NanoReview notes that gaming frame rates can vary with game version, operating system and other factors. See NanoReview’s base-chip comparison.

CPU, GPU and platform specifications
The two chips differ in their reported CPU arrangements and graphics processors. Qualcomm lists the Snapdragon 778G with a Kryo 670 CPU up to 2.4 GHz; 91mobiles describes its layout as one 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78-based core, three 2.2 GHz Cortex-A78-based cores and four 1.9 GHz Cortex-A55-based cores. For the Dimensity 7025 Ultra, 91mobiles lists two Cortex-A78 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, with maximum frequencies of 2.5 GHz and 2 GHz respectively. MediaTek’s official specifications for the base Dimensity 7025 also list Cortex-A78 up to 2.5 GHz and Cortex-A55 up to 2 GHz. Base-chip documentation and an Ultra-branded handset listing are related evidence, but not interchangeable vendor specifications.
| Feature | Snapdragon 778G | Dimensity 7025 Ultra |

| CPU | Kryo 670, up to 2.4 GHz; 91mobiles lists one 2.4 GHz, three 2.2 GHz and four 1.9 GHz cores | 91mobiles lists two Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz |
| Graphics | Adreno 642L | IMG BXM-8-256 |
| Memory support | LPDDR5 listed by 91mobiles | LPDDR5 listed by 91mobiles; MediaTek lists LPDDR5 and LPDDR4X for the base Dimensity 7025 |
| Platform features | Hexagon 770 AI processor, Snapdragon X53 5G modem-RF, Spectra 570L ISP, Quick Charge 4+ and Bluetooth 5.2 | MediaTek lists 5G carrier aggregation, dual 5G SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, support for up to 120 Hz HDR10+ displays and camera ISP support up to 200 MP for the base Dimensity 7025 |
Both are listed as 6 nm chips, but a process-node label alone cannot establish which phone will use less power. Memory type and platform support also do not confirm what a handset maker actually installs or enables. These are capabilities, not promises that every phone includes every feature.

Which chip is better for gaming?
The 91mobiles comparison lists Adreno 642L graphics for the Snapdragon 778G and IMG BXM-8-256 for the Dimensity 7025 Ultra; its tested Snapdragon device also scored higher in the AnTuTu GPU subscore. This is evidence in favor of the Snapdragon for graphics performance in that comparison, but it does not establish a gaming winner for every phone.

Actual frame rates and sustained performance depend on the specific game, graphics settings, drivers, game optimization, operating system and how well the phone handles heat. The available comparison does not provide a controlled, matched-handset test of sustained gaming for these exact chip variants. To choose between phones, look for results from the exact models and games you care about, including performance after an extended session.
What the scores mean for everyday use
The Geekbench results favor the Snapdragon 778G in both listed CPU tests, but benchmark gaps do not translate directly into the same percentage difference in routine tasks. Messaging, browsing and video playback can be shaped just as much by memory capacity, storage speed, software and the phone’s overall tuning. The Dimensity comparison’s higher AnTuTu UX subscore also shows why a single total score cannot settle every aspect of perceived responsiveness.

These examples are not a matched phone comparison. Display, cameras, battery and charging, storage, update policy, network bands, condition and price are handset-level differences that a chipset table cannot answer.
How to choose between two phones
- Check the exact model and region. Confirm the chipset and network-band support for the specific variant sold where you live.
- Compare the configurations. Check RAM, storage and memory type, as well as display, battery capacity, charging and camera hardware.
- Find tests for your use. For gaming, prioritize the games and settings you use and sustained results from the exact phones. For battery life, seek comparable handset-level tests.
- Compare software and total value. Consider update policy, price, warranty and whether the device is new, refurbished or used.
Choose the Snapdragon 778G phone if its specific model offers the better overall package and its stronger results in the cited CPU and GPU comparisons matter to you. A Dimensity 7025 Ultra phone may still be the better buy if its handset features, condition or price suit you more; the chipset comparison alone cannot decide that trade-off.
