Published head-to-head figures compare the Snapdragon with the Dimensity 7300 Ultra or standard 7300—not the Ultimate—so those scores should not be treated as an exact matchup.
Snapdragon 778G Plus vs Dimensity 7300 Ultimate specifications
The comparison below separates Qualcomm’s official Snapdragon 778G+ specifications from third-party Ultimate-specific listings. MediaTek’s official material cited here covers the standard Dimensity 7300 family, so its connectivity details are context, not confirmation of every Ultimate phone’s capabilities.

What the benchmark figures do—and do not—show
Dimensity 7300 Ultimate scores
91mobiles lists an AnTuTu score of 684,142 for the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate and describes it as the highest score recorded among devices using that chip. The same page lists Geekbench 6 results of 1,012 single-core and 2,855 multi-core. These are database/test-page figures, not a guarantee of what every phone with the chip will achieve; the page also shows handset scores that differ. See the Ultimate listing.
Why published comparisons with other 7300 variants are not an exact answer
A 91mobiles comparison reports AnTuTu scores of 541,618 for the Snapdragon 778G Plus and 646,751 for the Dimensity 7300 Ultra, as well as Geekbench single-core scores of 732 and 1,032, respectively. That is an Ultra comparison, not an Ultimate comparison. Its summary and detailed AnTuTu figures for the Snapdragon also differ, which is an added reason not to use it as a precise result for this pairing. See the 91mobiles comparison.

TopCPU lists AnTuTu 10 scores of 616,678 for the Snapdragon 778G Plus and 677,247 for the standard Dimensity 7300. That is another different variant; it does not provide an Ultimate score. See the TopCPU comparison.
None of these results is a matched test of the exact Snapdragon 778G Plus and Dimensity 7300 Ultimate on identified phones, using the same test version and conditions. Comparing scores across those separate pages would mix chip variants and potentially different devices and methods, so it cannot settle which exact platform is faster.

Specifications are useful for narrowing options, but a phone’s performance and value depend on more than its processor. Compare the complete devices available in your region rather than choosing from the chip names alone.
- Look for matched device tests. Prefer reviews that identify both phone models and use the same benchmark version and settings. For sustained gaming, look for long-session results, temperatures, and evidence of throttling, not just a single peak score.
- Check the exact wireless configuration. Supported bands and features depend on the handset and regional model. Do not assume the standard Dimensity 7300 family’s connectivity list applies unchanged to every 7300 Ultimate phone.
- Compare the rest of the hardware and software. Cooling, display resolution, memory, storage, battery, charging implementation, and software support can all affect the experience and should be checked on the phone’s own specification page.
- Compare local price and availability. The Infinix Note 50X is listed among phones powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, but confirm the exact regional configuration and current retailer availability before treating it as a buying option. See the 91mobiles device listing.
Verdict
On listed specifications, the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate is described with a smaller process node and a clearly specified four-core Cortex-A78 plus four-core Cortex-A55 CPU, while Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G Plus page identifies its Kryo 670 CPU, Adreno 642L graphics, X53 modem, and supported features. Those facts alone do not prove which phone will be faster, last longer, or game better. The available benchmark pages use the standard 7300 or 7300 Ultra for Snapdragon comparisons, so there is not enough matched evidence here to declare an exact Ultimate-versus-778G Plus performance winner.
