That is a useful indicator, not a guarantee of how two finished phones will perform: the results come from different handset implementations, and no controlled head-to-head test with identical conditions is established.
Quick comparison
| Comparison | Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 | Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum CPU clock | Up to 2.8 GHz; one prime, four performance and three efficiency cores, according to Qualcomm | Up to 2.7 GHz, according to Qualcomm |
| 91mobiles AnTuTu total | 1,450,949 | 1,176,492 |
| 91mobiles Geekbench single-core | 1,826 | 1,280 |
| 91mobiles Geekbench multi-core | 4,544 | 3,475 |

The benchmark figures are those displayed on 91mobiles’ comparison page, accessed 2026-10-07. They are publisher-reported results, not scores from a controlled Qualcomm comparison. The page does not establish matched cooling, firmware, memory configurations, ambient conditions or a repeated-run protocol.

What the benchmark gap says—and what it does not
In 91mobiles’ reported totals, the 7+ Gen 3 scores higher in AnTuTu and both Geekbench CPU tests. The page’s component breakdown is not uniformly in its favor: its listed CPU subscore for the 7s Gen 4 exceeds the 7+ Gen 3’s, while the 7+ Gen 3 has substantially higher listed GPU and memory subscores. A total score should not be read as proof that every component or workload favors the same chip.
A second comparison offers a separate set of results, but its aggregates use different benchmark versions and samples. NanoReview’s comparison page, accessed 2026-10-07, shows AnTuTu 11 aggregates of 1,660,924 for the 7+ Gen 3 and 1,041,898 for the 7s Gen 4, based on 66 and 35 samples, respectively. Its Geekbench 6 aggregates are 1,860 versus 1,223 for single-core and 5,045 versus 3,168 for multi-core, based on 23 and 15 samples. These figures are reported by NanoReview; they are not part of the same experiment as the 91mobiles results and should not be combined into a single score comparison. NanoReview also displays individual user-submitted 7s Gen 4 AnTuTu results from August and September 2026, illustrating variation between devices and runs.

Neither comparison establishes which chip will be faster in every phone or under sustained load. Cooling design, power limits, software, memory configuration and the workload can affect observed performance. Synthetic scores are best treated as directional evidence when choosing between actual devices.
Specifications and platform features
CPU clocks
Qualcomm lists the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 with CPU speeds up to 2.8 GHz and a one-prime, four-performance, three-efficiency core arrangement in its product brief. Qualcomm lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with speeds up to 2.7 GHz in its platform page. Those are peak specifications, not direct measures of performance; architecture, sustained power and thermal limits also matter.
Connectivity
Qualcomm’s 7+ Gen 3 brief lists an X63 5G modem, FastConnect 7800 and Wi-Fi 7, with peak Wi-Fi speed stated as up to 5.8 Gbps. Qualcomm’s 7s Gen 4 platform page lists its connectivity features. A supported platform feature does not guarantee that a phone maker implements or enables it in every model or region, so check the specifications for the exact handset.
Imaging
Qualcomm describes an 18-bit cognitive ISP and AI-assisted imaging features for the 7+ Gen 3 in its product brief. Its 7s Gen 4 brief describes that platform’s supported imaging capabilities. Neither description predicts a phone’s photo quality by itself: camera sensors, lenses, image processing and manufacturer tuning all contribute.
Manufacturer claims are not a direct comparison
Qualcomm calls the 7+ Gen 3 “the most powerful Snapdragon 7-series yet” in its product brief. Separately, it says the 7s Gen 4 CPU performance is 7% improved over its predecessor in the 7s Gen 4 brief. These are Qualcomm claims with different comparison baselines, not an independent chip-versus-chip result.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to choose between phones using these chips
Consider the whole phone rather than choosing from the processor name or benchmark table alone. The 91mobiles comparison lists the OnePlus Nord 4 and realme GT 6T with the 7+ Gen 3, and the Nothing Phone 4a and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion with the 7s Gen 4. These are examples on that comparison page, not a complete list or a guarantee that every regional version has the same configuration.
- For CPU and GPU workloads: the cited comparisons favor the 7+ Gen 3 overall, but look for results and reviews of the specific phone you are considering.
- For gaming over longer sessions: compare sustained performance and thermal behavior. A short benchmark score does not show how a phone behaves after it heats up.
- For battery life and charging: compare the handset’s battery capacity, charging support and device-level endurance evidence; the chipset alone does not settle these differences.
- For photos and video: assess the actual sensors, lenses, camera software and sample results rather than inferring image quality from the ISP description.
- For long-term ownership: check the phone maker’s software-update policy, local warranty and exact regional model.
- For value: compare the current local price and availability of the full devices. A faster chipset is not automatically the better purchase if the rest of the phone or the price does not suit you.
Phone specifications and regional configurations can differ. Verify the model number and its listed features before buying, especially when relying on a connectivity or memory specification.
