NanoReview’s Geekbench 6 aggregates slightly favor the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, while its 3DMark Steel Nomad Light results favor the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3; AnTuTu results vary sharply between comparison sites. Both are 4 nm mobile platforms, and the phone built around either chip can matter as much as the processor name.

What the specifications mean for a phone
CPU and graphics
Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in November 2023 and listed CPU speeds up to 2.63 GHz. Its launch announcement also claimed over 50% faster GPU performance and 60% improved AI performance per watt against Qualcomm’s stated preceding-generation baseline. Those are vendor-reported generational claims, not results from a direct comparison with the 7s Gen 3.

These percentages do not share a demonstrated head-to-head test or necessarily the same comparison conditions as the 7 Gen 3 claims.

Which one should you choose?
- For gaming: The cited Steel Nomad Light result favors the 7 Gen 3, but it is not a guarantee of better sustained gaming in every phone. Compare the exact models’ cooling, performance behavior, display resolution, and independent tests of those handsets.
- For CPU-focused tasks: Both comparison pages show modestly higher Geekbench 6 results for the 7s Gen 3. The scores are aggregated or site-reported, so use them as a clue rather than a promise of a noticeable everyday difference.
- For overall performance: Do not decide from AnTuTu alone. NanoReview shows a near tie in AnTuTu 11, while 91mobiles reports a much higher total for the 7 Gen 3. The different samples and conditions prevent a clean reconciliation.
- When buying a phone: Compare the complete devices, not only their chipsets. Check RAM and storage configuration, software support, thermal design, display, camera, battery, price, and the chipset in the exact regional variant.
