Bootstrap’s accordion component gives you the working foundation for a modern FAQ: collapsible panels, optional single-open grouping, reduced-motion-aware transitions, and styling hooks. The official Bootstrap v5.3 documentation explains how to build and customize it. It does not verify a specific downloadable “V07” template, its design, files, license, or demo.
What “Bootstrap Accordion V07” means—and what is verified
The available authoritative source for this topic is Bootstrap’s official v5.3 Accordion documentation. It documents Bootstrap’s accordion component, not a specific asset named “V07.” That means the component behavior and implementation below are documented, but the exact V07 template’s source, license, included assets, framework compatibility, and demo behavior are not established.

If you need a particular downloadable template, verify its publisher, license, included files, and Bootstrap version before using it. If you need a free FAQ accordion you can implement yourself, Bootstrap’s documented component is a practical starting point.
How Bootstrap’s accordion works
Bootstrap builds its accordion from the Collapse JavaScript plugin. A panel with .collapse is closed; adding .show makes it visible. During the transition, Bootstrap uses .collapsing. A button’s data attributes identify the panel to toggle, and an optional data-bs-parent connects panels into a group so opening one can close another.
#1 Best Overall
The example below follows the Bootstrap v5.3 documentation. Include Bootstrap’s JavaScript bundle in the page for the data-attribute interaction to work; the markup alone does not provide the collapsing behavior.
<div class="accordion" id="faqAccordion">
<div class="accordion-item">
<h2 class="accordion-header" id="faqHeadingOne">
<button class="accordion-button collapsed"
type="button"
data-bs-toggle="collapse"
data-bs-target="#faqPanelOne"
aria-expanded="false"
aria-controls="faqPanelOne">
How does the accordion work?
</button>
</h2>
<div id="faqPanelOne"
class="accordion-collapse collapse"
aria-labelledby="faqHeadingOne"
data-bs-parent="#faqAccordion">
<div class="accordion-body">
The button toggles this panel using Bootstrap's Collapse plugin.
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
data-bs-toggle="collapse"enables the Collapse toggle.data-bs-target="#faqPanelOne"points to the panel’s matching ID.- The panel needs the
accordion-collapse collapseclasses. data-bs-parent="#faqAccordion"is optional and supplies accordion-group behavior.
Keep IDs and selectors unique if you add more items: each button’s target must identify its own panel, and each panel’s aria-labelledby should refer to its corresponding heading.

How to open an FAQ item by default
To show a panel when the page loads, make the panel’s visual state and the button’s announced state agree. In Bootstrap v5.3, add .show to the panel, remove .collapsed from its button, and set aria-expanded="true" on that button.
<button class="accordion-button"
type="button"
data-bs-toggle="collapse"
data-bs-target="#faqPanelOne"
aria-expanded="true"
aria-controls="faqPanelOne">
How does the accordion work?
</button>
<div id="faqPanelOne"
class="accordion-collapse collapse show"
aria-labelledby="faqHeadingOne"
data-bs-parent="#faqAccordion">
<div class="accordion-body">
The button toggles this panel using Bootstrap's Collapse plugin.
</div>
</div>
Apply the same state consistently to any additional panels you choose to start open. When using data-bs-parent, consider whether the initial open state fits the single-open grouping you want.
Customize the appearance and motion
Bootstrap v5.3 supports accordion-local CSS variables for styling and Sass customization for projects that compile Bootstrap from source. Local variables let you adjust the component without treating a third-party V07 design as verified; consult the official documentation for the available variable names and values.
The transition effect depends on the user’s prefers-reduced-motion setting. Avoid overriding that behavior in a way that forces motion for people who have requested reduced motion. Bootstrap documents this dependency, but the cited component documentation does not establish that every optional keyboard interaction in the WAI-ARIA authoring pattern is automatically covered. Test the interaction with your intended assistive technologies and input methods rather than assuming that a template label guarantees accessibility.

Before adopting a V07 download
The name alone is not enough to establish what a template contains or whether it is safe and suitable for a project. Check the actual download and its documentation before deploying it:
- Confirm the publisher and the template’s license permit your intended use.
- Check which Bootstrap version the markup and scripts require.
- Inspect whether the template bundles Bootstrap or expects your project to supply it.
- Test panel toggling, initial-open states, reduced-motion behavior, and the experience with keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Review the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript rather than assuming the V07 name identifies a particular design or feature set.
For the documented Bootstrap v5.3 component behavior and customization options, see the official Accordion documentation.
