There is no evidence here for a reliable all-round winner between the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7060. Qualcomm publishes official specifications for its chip; an exact official MediaTek Dimensity 7060 product page was not located. The available benchmark figures are secondary aggregator results, and the winner changes with the benchmark version.
How solid is the specification comparison?
The evidence is uneven. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 product page provides manufacturer specifications. For the Dimensity 7060, the available comparison information comes from secondary listings rather than an exact MediaTek product page; treat those figures accordingly.

Do not fill that documentation gap with specifications for a similarly named processor. MediaTek’s official page that surfaced for the Dimensity 7050 concerns a different chip, so its details cannot establish the Dimensity 7060’s specifications: MediaTek Dimensity 7050 product page.
Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7060 specifications
| Specification | Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 | Dimensity 7060 |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer documentation | Qualcomm product page located; specifications below are manufacturer-listed where noted. | An exact official MediaTek product page was not located; available details are secondary listings. |
| Process and CPU | Qualcomm identifies a 6 nm platform and a 2.3 GHz CPU. NanoReview describes the CPU as 2 Cortex-A78 cores at 2.3 GHz plus 6 Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. | Secondary listings describe the processor; exact official specifications were not established. |
| Graphics and display | Qualcomm lists an Adreno GPU and support for displays up to 120 fps at FHD+. That display capability is not a promise that games will run at 120 fps. | Secondary comparison data is available, but exact official graphics specifications were not established. |
| 5G connectivity | Qualcomm lists a Snapdragon X51 modem, broad 5G support, and peak download speeds up to 2.5 Gbps. | A secondary comparison reports peak download speeds up to 2.77 Gbps. |
Peak modem figures are theoretical platform specifications, not predictions of the speed a user will get on a carrier network. Coverage, network conditions, supported bands and the handset implementation matter.

NanoReview’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 listing also names the Motorola Moto G85 5G as a phone using the chip. That example does not establish an equivalent Dimensity 7060 handset or make the two phones a controlled comparison. See NanoReview’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 listing.

Those results do not support declaring one chip universally faster. A processor score also cannot determine a phone’s sustained gaming performance, battery life or everyday responsiveness without accounting for the device and its software.

What the benchmarks cannot tell you
- Gaming frame rates: Qualcomm’s up-to-120-fps FHD+ display support describes a platform capability, not the frame rate a particular game will achieve. Game support, graphics settings, cooling and the phone’s display all affect play.
- Long-session performance: Cooling and power limits can influence how a handset performs over time; a benchmark score alone does not establish sustained performance.
- Battery life: Battery capacity, display, software and handset design contribute to runtime. The chip name by itself is not enough to predict it.
- Network experience: The listed peak download rates do not establish compatibility with a particular carrier or actual local speed. Check the phone’s supported bands and the networks available where you use it.
How to choose between phones using these chips
Start with the complete handset, not a processor ranking. If you are choosing between two specific models, compare their price and the features that directly affect your use:
- Battery capacity and independent, comparable battery testing, if available.
- Display resolution, refresh rate and brightness.
- Memory and storage configurations for the exact model and market.
- Software support commitments and the phone’s current update status.
- Cooling design and reviews that assess sustained gaming or heavy workloads.
- Supported network bands for your carrier and region.
Benchmark listings are most useful as one limited point of comparison. Verify the exact phone model and configuration: different memory, cooling, firmware and software can affect results and daily use.

Keep near-name chip comparisons separate
NanoReview’s comparison involving Dimensity 7060 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is about Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, not Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Its scores should not be used as evidence for this matchup. The separate Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 comparison is relevant only to that different chip pairing.
