91mobiles reports higher benchmark scores for the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while the Dimensity 6400 Max comparison lists a higher peak download rate and FHD+ display support at up to 120 Hz. Those figures describe chipset capabilities and reported test results, not a controlled comparison of phones. If you are choosing a handset, its price, configuration, display, cameras, battery and software support matter as much as the processor.
What the comparison shows
The 91mobiles comparison gives the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 the lead in its reported AnTuTu and Geekbench results. Its specifications list also gives the Dimensity 6400 Max a higher peak download rate and explicitly identifies FHD+ support at 120 Hz. The table below reflects the comparison’s reported figures; benchmark scores are not guaranteed outcomes for every device.

Source for the paired figures: 91mobiles’ Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 vs Dimensity 6400 Max comparison, accessed in 2026. Its page describes the AnTuTu figures as tested by 91mobiles; the retrieved comparison does not provide enough device and test-condition detail to treat them as universal results.
How to interpret the benchmark lead
In the 91mobiles results, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 scores higher in both listed tests: its AnTuTu total is 23,062 points above the Dimensity 6400 Max result, and its reported Geekbench single-core and multicore scores are also higher. AnTuTu combines CPU, GPU, memory and overall performance measures, while Geekbench focuses on single-threaded and multithreaded CPU performance, according to the comparison page.

That difference does not establish that every Snapdragon-powered phone will feel faster or game better than every phone using the Dimensity chip. The comparison does not give matched handsets and sufficiently detailed test conditions for a universal real-world conclusion. Cooling, software tuning, memory, storage and sustained power limits can affect how a particular phone performs. For a purchase, look for independent testing of the exact handset models you are considering.
What the official specifications confirm—and what they do not
Snapdragon 6s Gen 3
Qualcomm’s official product page lists a 2.3 GHz CPU clock, the Snapdragon X51 5G modem, Quick Charge 4+ and a 6 nm process. The 91mobiles comparison supplies the core layout and GPU entry shown above. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 product page provides the vendor’s platform details.

Dimensity 6400 Max and the “Max” suffix
MediaTek’s official product page documents the base Dimensity 6400, including its CPU configuration and a peak download rate of 3.3 Gbps. It does not separately explain whether the “6400 Max” name used in the 91mobiles comparison is identical to the base 6400 or what, if anything, differs. The base-chip specifications should therefore not be presented as official confirmation of a distinct Max variant. See MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 product page.
What the speed and display figures mean for a phone
5G download capability
The comparison lists up to 2.5 Gbps for Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and up to 3.3 Gbps for Dimensity 6400 Max; Qualcomm identifies the Snapdragon X51 modem, and MediaTek lists the 3.3 Gbps peak for the base Dimensity 6400. These are platform peak capabilities, not predictions of the speed you will see on a carrier network. Actual throughput depends on factors such as network coverage, spectrum, congestion and the phone’s implementation.

Refresh rate and resolution
Both entries list support for refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The Dimensity comparison entry specifies FHD+ resolution at that rate; the 91mobiles Snapdragon entry does not state a resolution alongside its 120 Hz figure. Chipset support alone does not tell you whether a particular phone has a 120 Hz panel, how good its brightness or color is, or whether it runs at the maximum refresh rate in every app.

Start with the exact handset models and regional variants rather than selecting by chipset name alone. 91mobiles lists the Motorola Moto G85 among devices associated with Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and the realme 15T among devices associated with Dimensity 6400 Max. These are examples from its comparison page, not a recommendation or a guarantee that every market has the same configuration.

- Price and availability: compare the current price and whether the exact regional model is actually available to you.
- Memory and storage: check the RAM and storage configuration being sold; the same chipset can appear in phones with different hardware and software tuning.
- Battery and charging: compare battery capacity and charging support on the handset specification sheet. A chipset-level charging feature does not establish that a phone implements it.
- Display and cameras: assess the actual panel and camera hardware and implementation, not only the capabilities listed for the processor.
- Software support: compare the manufacturer’s update policy for the specific model and market.
- Performance evidence: consult independent reviews of the exact phones, particularly for sustained workloads and gaming.
If two phones are otherwise close and the 91mobiles scores match the chipset-level question you care about, the Snapdragon result is the stronger reported benchmark showing. But the available comparison does not establish that it is automatically the better phone: the Dimensity entry lists the higher peak download capability and explicitly lists FHD+ at 120 Hz, while the final experience depends on handset design and implementation.
