Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 vs Dimensity 7300 Pro: Specs and Benchmark Comparison

Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and Dimensity 7300 Pro are both 4 nm mid-range platforms, but available benchmarks do not provide a matched test proving which is faster.

There is not enough matched testing to declare a definitive winner in a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 vs Dimensity 7300 Pro benchmark comparison. Qualcomm publishes Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 results against its previous generation, while Nothing’s Dimensity 7300 Pro figures describe the CMF Phone 2 Pro. A separate head-to-head comparison covers the standard Dimensity 7300, not the Pro. The available evidence suggests both are 4 nm mid-range platforms, but it does not establish which is faster in equivalent phones.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 vs Dimensity 7300 Pro: specifications

The specifications below come from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 materials, Nothing’s CMF Phone 2 Pro page, and 91mobiles’ Dimensity 7300 Pro listing. They describe the platforms, not two phones tested under identical conditions.

Specification Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Dimensity 7300 Pro
Manufacturing process 4 nm, according to Qualcomm 4 nm, co-engineered with TSMC, according to Nothing and 91mobiles
CPU details 64-bit Kryo CPU; listed clock speed is 2.3 GHz, according to Qualcomm Eight cores: four Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz, according to 91mobiles
Graphics Adreno GPU; specific model not stated on the cited Qualcomm product page Mali-G615 MC2, according to 91mobiles
Connectivity cited Snapdragon 5G modem system and Wi-Fi 6/6E support, according to Qualcomm Not stated in the cited Nothing and 91mobiles materials

Clock speeds and core names alone do not determine how fast a phone feels or how well it sustains game performance. Cooling, software tuning, memory, power limits, and the phone’s display and battery all affect the result.

Which processor is faster?

The evidence here does not support a reliable direct winner. The published figures use different phones, benchmark contexts, and comparison baselines. A score from one device cannot isolate the effect of its chipset from the rest of the phone.

What Qualcomm’s performance claims mean

Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 on February 12, 2025. It claims 11% improved CPU performance, up to 29% better GPU performance, and 12% power savings compared with the preceding Snapdragon generation. Those are generational claims—not results against MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro. See Qualcomm’s announcement for its stated comparison bases.

What Nothing’s Dimensity 7300 Pro figures mean

Nothing identifies the CMF Phone 2 Pro as using the Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G, an eight-core platform built with TSMC’s 4 nm process technology and running up to 2.5 GHz. Nothing claims up to 10% faster CPU performance and up to 5% better graphics than the CMF Phone 1. These are manufacturer comparisons with that earlier phone, not measurements against a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 device. Nothing also lists an AnTuTu score of 711,907 for the CMF Phone 2 Pro; it is a device score presented by the manufacturer, not a universal chipset score or a matched comparison.

Why the available benchmark numbers do not settle it

91mobiles reports 907,685 as the highest AnTuTu score it has recorded for a device using the Dimensity 7300 Pro. It says its figures come from real-world devices. That score differs substantially from Nothing’s 711,907 for the CMF Phone 2 Pro, illustrating how device and test context can matter. Neither figure, on its own, establishes a winner over a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 handset.

A NanoReview comparison lists AnTuTu 10 scores of 757,902 for Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and 675,069 for the standard Dimensity 7300. It also lists Geekbench 6 scores of 1,091 single-core and 3,085 multi-core for Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, versus 1,058 and 3,025 for Dimensity 7300. This offers context for the standard Dimensity 7300 only: the comparison does not identify or test the Pro variant, so those results cannot be presented as Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 versus Dimensity 7300 Pro results.

What the CMF Phone 2 Pro review shows

In its review of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, Tom’s Guide measured average Geekbench 6 results of about 1,016 single-core and 2,961 multi-core, plus 18.62 frames per second in 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited. Those are reviewer measurements for that phone and test context, not a controlled comparison against a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 phone.

Tom’s Guide said the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s Geekbench results were roughly flat against its CMF Phone 1 review measurements, despite Nothing’s claimed improvement over the earlier phone. It also reported that the tested game could stutter during heavy effects. The difference between a manufacturer’s claimed improvement and a reviewer’s results underscores why figures should be tied to the tested handset and conditions. Read Tom’s Guide’s CMF Phone 2 Pro review for its test context.

How to choose between phones using these chips

Buyers usually choose between complete phones, not processors in isolation. If you are comparing a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 phone with the CMF Phone 2 Pro, assess the devices on the same practical criteria:

  • Sustained gaming: Look for frame-rate and heat tests from the same reviewer, ideally using the same game, settings, and test duration.
  • CPU performance: Compare scores from the same benchmark version and testing procedure. Do not mix different Geekbench versions or treat a database maximum as a controlled test.
  • Battery life: Prefer results from the same standardized test. Chip efficiency alone does not determine runtime; battery capacity, screen, and software also matter.
  • Memory and storage: Check the exact RAM and storage configuration being sold, since configurations can affect performance and everyday use.
  • Display and cameras: Compare the actual panel, brightness, refresh rate, camera hardware, and image processing. These are phone features, not guaranteed by the chipset name.
  • Connectivity: Verify the phone’s regional 5G bands and Wi-Fi support for your market. Platform support does not guarantee every manufacturer enables the same features in every model.
  • Software support and price: Compare update policies, warranty, regional model, and current local price before deciding.
