Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteShort answer: the available benchmark snapshot favors Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, but it is not a controlled comparison against Dimensity 7025 Ultra. NanoReview compares Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with Dimensity 7025, while 91mobiles reports Dimensity 7025 Ultra scores from devices using that chip. Those separate results can help frame expectations, but they do not prove how two particular phones will perform against each other.
For a buying decision, compare the actual handsets’ sustained performance, cooling, memory, display, battery, cameras, network support, software updates, and regional price—not just the processor name or one benchmark total.

What is—and is not—a direct comparison
The distinction between Dimensity 7025 and Dimensity 7025 Ultra matters here. MediaTek’s product page describes the Dimensity 7025 platform, not specifically the Ultra-branded variant. NanoReview’s comparison likewise lists Dimensity 7025 against Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. The separate Dimensity 7025 Ultra scores come from 91mobiles’ device-based listing. Because the figures come from different sources and test setups, they should not be read as a same-phone, same-conditions contest.

|---|---|---|---|
| NanoReview, AnTuTu 10 | 757,902 | 462,801 | Not listed in this comparison |
| NanoReview, Geekbench 6 single-core | 1,091 | 1,024 | Not listed in this comparison |

| 91mobiles, Geekbench 6 single-core | Not stated | Not stated | 950 |
| 91mobiles, Geekbench 6 multi-core | Not stated | Not stated | 2,276 |
NanoReview’s results favor Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 over Dimensity 7025 on all three listed scores. The 91mobiles listing gives Dimensity 7025 Ultra results from devices using the chip. Since the two sources do not establish matched phones, software, or test conditions, comparing the Ultra figures directly with NanoReview’s Snapdragon results would suggest more certainty than the data supports.

Benchmarks are useful for comparing performance under a specific test, but they do not capture every everyday or sustained workload. A phone may score well in a short run and then reduce performance as it heats up; cooling design and power limits can change the experience. Look for tests of the exact handset you plan to buy, especially sustained-load and game tests, rather than assuming every model with the same chipset behaves alike.
CPU, graphics, and efficiency claims
CPU performance
The NanoReview comparison shows a modest Snapdragon lead in its listed Geekbench 6 single-core result and a larger gap in multi-core. Those remain aggregator figures, not a controlled head-to-head between Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and Dimensity 7025 Ultra phones.

Qualcomm says Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 improves CPU performance by 11%, citing Geekbench v6.2 single-core testing. That is Qualcomm’s comparison with its prior reference platform, not a claim that it is 11% faster than Dimensity 7025 Ultra.
GPU and gaming
Qualcomm claims up to 29% better GPU performance for Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, based on GFXBench Aztec Ruins. The claim is a vendor-reported improvement against Qualcomm’s prior reference platform, not an independent result against Dimensity 7025 Ultra. Neither the chipset label nor that test alone guarantees higher frame rates in a specific game: resolution, graphics settings, game optimization, temperature, and phone cooling all affect results.

Power use and battery life
Qualcomm also reports 12% power savings based on internal testing. That does not establish longer battery life in a retail phone: Qualcomm notes that battery life varies significantly with device design, settings, usage, and other features. The 4 nm and 6 nm-class process figures are not enough to predict which handset lasts longer; battery capacity, screen, modem configuration, and software matter too.
What the platform specifications mean for a phone
MediaTek lists LPDDR5/4X memory and Full HD+ display support up to 120 Hz for Dimensity 7025. These are platform capabilities rather than promises about every Dimensity 7025 or 7025 Ultra handset. Manufacturers choose the memory type and capacity, display resolution and refresh rate, thermal design, camera sensors, and software features for each model.

The same principle applies to connectivity and imaging: check the handset’s own specification sheet for network bands, Wi-Fi support, camera hardware, and any feature you need. A chip’s potential cannot confirm that a particular model includes a given antenna arrangement, camera implementation, or regional band.
How to choose between phones using these chips
- Identify the exact regional model. Confirm the full model name and variant; phones with similar names can differ by market.
- Check sustained performance evidence. Prioritize independent tests of the exact handset, including longer gaming or workload runs, over chipset-only comparisons.
- Compare the whole configuration. Check RAM and storage, cooling, screen, battery capacity, cameras, and network bands against your needs.
- Check software support and local price. Update commitments, current availability, and value depend on the specific phone and market, not just the processor.
- Use chip benchmarks as a tie-breaker. If the handset evidence is otherwise similar, the available NanoReview comparison is a reason to favor Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 over the standard Dimensity 7025—but it does not settle the Ultra comparison.
91mobiles lists POCO M7 Pro among phones powered by Dimensity 7025 Ultra. Treat it as an example of a handset using that chip, not as a recommendation: verify the precise regional variant, current availability, and its full specifications before deciding.
