The Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 leads the Helio G91 in the 91mobiles benchmark results cited here, and it is the only one of the two with verified Release 17 5G support in the available specifications. The figures are device-reported database results, not a controlled test of both chips in otherwise identical phones, so use them as a useful comparison—not a guarantee of how any two handsets will perform.

Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 vs Helio G91: benchmark results

91mobiles lists higher scores for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 in all three benchmark entries below. The site does not state the test year or benchmark builds in the accessible pages, and its results come from real devices rather than a matched lab setup.

Benchmark Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Helio G91
AnTuTu 381,047 265,150
Geekbench single-core 840 412
Geekbench multi-core 1,963 1,448

These are the entries reported by 91mobiles for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 and 91mobiles for Helio G91. Because the tested phones, software, benchmark versions and conditions are not established as identical, the score gap should not be treated as a precise prediction for every handset.

CPU, process and graphics

Both chips are listed as octa-core processors with a 2+6 core layout. The Snapdragon’s two performance cores are Cortex-A78 cores, while the Helio G91’s are Cortex-A75; both listings specify six Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 1.8GHz. The performance cores are listed at up to 2GHz.

Specification Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Helio G91
CPU configuration 2 Cortex-A78 up to 2GHz; 6 Cortex-A55 up to 1.8GHz 2 Cortex-A75 up to 2GHz; 6 Cortex-A55 up to 1.8GHz
Manufacturing process 4nm, specified by Qualcomm 12nm, listed by 91mobiles
GPU Adreno; identified by 91mobiles as Adreno 611 Mali-G52 MC2, listed by 91mobiles

The Helio G91 core, process and GPU details are from the third-party 91mobiles specification listing; Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 product page is the primary source for its 4nm specification and Adreno GPU family. A GPU name or process node alone does not establish game frame rates, heat or battery life: those also depend on the phone’s cooling, power settings, display, software and workload.

5G and wireless connectivity

Qualcomm specifies Release 17 5G for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, including sub-6GHz operation, 100MHz bandwidth and peak download capability of up to 1Gbps. These are platform specifications, not a promise of real-world throughput; coverage, network conditions, carrier support and the phone’s regional configuration affect actual speeds. Qualcomm also lists Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.

The available Helio G91 information does not establish enough official connectivity detail for a precise modem or wireless comparison. Do not infer its full network feature set from that gap. For either chip, check the exact phone SKU and supported local bands before buying.

Memory and storage support

91mobiles lists LPDDR4X memory for both processors. For storage, Qualcomm’s product page describes UFS 3.1 support for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, while 91mobiles lists UFS 2.1 for Helio G91. These are platform or database specifications, not confirmation that every phone uses the fastest supported configuration. Check the specific handset’s memory and storage details when comparing models.

Which phones use these processors?

91mobiles lists Xiaomi Redmi A4 and POCO C75 among Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 phones, and Itel S24 among phones using Helio G91. These examples identify devices, not current prices or stock. Confirm the market, exact model configuration and retailer listing before treating two phones as directly comparable.

Which chip should you choose?

  • For the stronger cited benchmark results: Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 leads the listed AnTuTu and Geekbench entries, with the caveat that the devices and test conditions were not matched.
  • For documented 5G capability: Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 has Qualcomm-published Release 17 5G specifications. The available evidence is not sufficient to make a complete side-by-side connectivity claim for Helio G91.
  • For a buying decision: Compare the complete phones, including price, memory and storage configuration, software, display, battery, regional network bands and update commitments. A chipset comparison cannot establish which handset will be faster, cooler or last longer in everyday use.

Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 on July 30, 2024, describing its aim as making 5G more accessible; that is the company’s stated positioning, not independent evidence of any particular phone’s performance. Its announcement is available at Qualcomm’s July 30, 2024 release. 91mobiles describes Helio G91 as launched in June 2024.
