Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is the stronger choice if you want 5G, and its listed CPU configuration and reported benchmark results are also higher than the UNISOC T7250’s. The T7250 is a 4G/LTE platform with a different balance of CPU, graphics and display capabilities. Benchmark figures are device-recorded results, not a controlled comparison of two chips in identical phones, so handset design and configuration still matter.
At a glance: the main differences
| Feature | Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 | UNISOC T7250 | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| CPU | 2 Cortex-A78 cores up to 2 GHz; 6 Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.8 GHz | 2 Cortex-A75 cores up to 1.8 GHz; 6 Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.6 GHz | Snapdragon has the faster listed core types and clocks. Actual phone performance varies. |
| Manufacturing process | 6 nm, according to Qualcomm | 12 nm, according to UNISOC | These manufacturer specifications do not, by themselves, guarantee a particular battery life. |
| Cellular connectivity | X51 5G modem with sub-6 GHz support | LTE, including Cat 7 downlink and Cat 13 uplink | Snapdragon is the option for 5G, subject to the handset supporting the required local bands. |
| Graphics | Adreno GPU; Notebookcheck identifies it as Adreno 619 | Arm Mali-G57, up to 850 MHz | Specifications alone do not establish which chip performs better in games. |
| Memory and storage support | Retail configurations depend on the phone; Qualcomm’s product page does not settle them | LPDDR4X; eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.1/2.2 support | Supported interfaces are not a guarantee that a particular phone uses the fastest option. |
| Display support | Up to FHD+ at 120 fps, according to Qualcomm | FHD+ at 60 Hz or HD+ at 120 Hz, according to UNISOC | These are platform capabilities; the actual panel in a phone may be more limited. |
Specifications are listed by Qualcomm and UNISOC; the Adreno 619 identification comes from Notebookcheck.

| Benchmark | Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 | UNISOC T7250 |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu | 417,839 | 381,574 |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 852 | 441 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 2,047 | 1,480 |
These are 91mobiles’ reported device results, accessed in 2026; they are snapshots rather than guaranteed scores for every phone. A handset’s cooling, memory, software and power settings can affect its measured performance. See the listings for Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 and T7250.

- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
What the CPU specifications suggest
Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 pairs two Cortex-A78 performance cores running at up to 2 GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.8 GHz. T7250 uses two Cortex-A75 cores up to 1.8 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.6 GHz. The listed Snapdragon cores are newer and have higher maximum clocks, which is consistent with its higher reported benchmark results. It does not establish how a specific phone will feel in every task: memory capacity, software and thermal behavior also affect responsiveness.
5G, LTE and network compatibility
Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 includes Qualcomm’s X51 5G modem and supports sub-6 GHz 5G. UNISOC lists the T7250 as an LTE platform, with Cat 7 downlink and Cat 13 uplink support. If 5G is a requirement, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 has the clear platform advantage. Still, check the exact phone’s supported network bands and regional model; a chipset specification alone cannot confirm compatibility with a particular carrier.

Graphics, displays and memory: what specs can—and cannot—tell you
Graphics and gaming
Qualcomm names an Adreno GPU for Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, and Notebookcheck identifies it as Adreno 619. UNISOC lists a Mali-G57 GPU running at up to 850 MHz for T7250. These labels and specifications do not provide a matched graphics benchmark, so they are not enough to declare a gaming winner. For gaming, reviews of the exact phone are more useful than the chipset name alone.
Screen support
Qualcomm lists support up to FHD+ at 120 fps for Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. UNISOC specifies FHD+ at 60 Hz or HD+ at 120 Hz for T7250. Those are platform capabilities, not promises about the display fitted to a particular handset. Check the phone’s own panel resolution and refresh rate before buying.

Memory and storage
UNISOC lists LPDDR4X memory and support for eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.1/2.2 storage on T7250 devices. Support for more than one storage interface does not mean every model implements the faster one. Qualcomm’s product page does not settle retail memory and storage configurations for Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 phones. Compare the specifications of the actual models you are considering.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 phone if 5G is essential, or if you want the platform with the stronger listed CPU configuration and higher reported benchmark results.
- Consider a T7250 phone if LTE meets your needs and the handset offers the better overall fit for your budget and priorities.
For either processor, compare the phone’s price, RAM, storage type and capacity, display, battery and software support. Those handset details can matter more to daily use than the processor comparison alone. A processor cannot confirm that a phone has a particular feature or will receive software updates for a given period.
