Community guides commonly list level 25, 5,000 Wen, and 30 Demon Horns as prerequisites, followed by six training tasks. The horn requirement and some in-game labels may vary, so check the trainer’s current dialogue before collecting materials.
Where to find the Water Breathing trainer
Head to Bamboo Grove and look around the waterfall and nearby cliff for a small house or island landmark. The route described by community walkthroughs goes through a flooded opening near the waterfall, then up a ladder into a concealed room. Interact with the Water Trainer there. Guides most often call the NPC Urokodaki; another reports the name Sakonji in some builds.

- Travel to Bamboo Grove and find the waterfall or cliff area, using the nearby small house or island as a landmark.
- Look for the underwater opening near the waterfall and swim through the concealed passage.
- At the far end, climb the ladder into the hidden room and speak to the Water Trainer.
These are community-guide directions rather than official map coordinates. The guides agree on the Bamboo Grove underwater route but describe the nearby landmark differently. AllThingsHow’s walkthrough and the Slayers 2 Wiki give route details.

Water Breathing requirements
Community guides commonly report that you need to be level 25, have 5,000 Wen, and bring 30 Demon Horns. One guide also specifies that your character must be on the Slayer path. The horn count is not consistent: another guide says Urokodaki may ask for 30 horns or may not, while still listing the Wen cost. Check the trainer’s current dialogue before farming horns; no official confirmation of the exact current requirements was found in the cited guides.

- Durable, Satisfying HyperX Switches: Rated for up to 100 million clicks, HyperX mouse switches provide solid tactile and audible feedback on every satisfying click.
What the Water Breathing training involves
The reported training chain consists of five activities followed by a fight. The names and order below reflect community guides, not a confirmed official quest list:
- Parkour Dungeon
- Push Ups
- Boulder Push
- Aim Training
- Underwater Rocks
- Fight the Water Trainee
Completing the Water Trainee fight is reported to unlock Water Breathing. Learning the style does not automatically unlock every move: spend skill points on individual forms in the Water Skill Tree. A player thread also describes confusion about equipping the style after obtaining it, but it is anecdotal rather than verified mechanics documentation. See the player discussion for that example.

What may differ between guides and builds
- NPC name: Urokodaki is the most common label in recent guides; Sakonji is another reported name.
- Demon Horns: 30 is widely reported, but at least one guide says the trainer may not require them.
- Task wording and sequence: guides describe six stages, though exact labels may depend on the current build.
