In Slayers 2, the reported Stone Breathing trainer is Gyorei at Stone Sanctuary. Guides say to reach level 25, obtain the Axe and Mace from the Stone Trainee, and prepare 4,000 Wen plus Beast Cores—but sources disagree whether Gyorei requires four or five cores. Check Gyorei’s current dialogue before farming. After starting training, expect six reported objectives, ending with a Stone Trainee fight.
Where to find the Stone Breathing trainer
Multiple current third-party guides place Gyorei at Stone Sanctuary in the mountain region. The descriptions put him near a temple or wooden hall. Roblox Den describes the sanctuary as being on the far-right side of the map, with Gyorei near the northern building; other guides are less specific. These are guide-reported directions, not an official route or verified coordinate. Use the in-game map or quest marker and confirm the location in your current build. Pro Game Guides, Roblox Den, and PlayerTome describe the location with varying detail.

What to prepare before speaking to Gyorei
Third-party guides commonly report the following requirements. They are not official developer-published guarantees, and the Beast Core total is unsettled.

- Axe and Mace: Guides say this weapon drops from the Stone Trainee and is required to begin Gyorei’s training. The reported drop chance varies: Pro Game Guides gives 7%, while Roblox Den estimates roughly 15%. Neither figure is verified, so do not plan around a particular number of attempts.
- 4,000 Wen: Reported by Pro Game Guides and Roblox Den.
- Beast Cores: Pro Game Guides and Roblox Den report five; PlayerTome reports four. Because the count conflicts, check Gyorei’s live dialogue before spending time farming or paying.
These figures come from guides updated in September 2026, not an official requirements list. See Pro Game Guides’ Stone Breathing guide, Roblox Den’s Slayers 2 guide, and PlayerTome’s guide.

How to get the Axe and Mace
Guides identify the Stone Trainee as the source of the Axe and Mace. Farm the weapon before trying to start Gyorei’s training, and check your inventory to confirm you have it. The reported 7% and roughly 15% drop estimates conflict, so treat the weapon as a random drop rather than expecting it within a fixed number of fights. Pro Game Guides reports 7%; Roblox Den reports roughly 15%.

Current guides commonly describe six objectives. Follow Gyorei’s live quest tracker and make sure each task registers before moving on:
Rank #2
- Punch demons with the power of bands created!
- The battle of Tanjiro Kamado will again unfold …
- Meditation
- Push Ups
- Boulder Push
- Boulder Split
- Parkour
- A final fight with the Stone Trainee
The Stone Trainee appears in two distinct parts of the process: guides say to defeat it for the Axe and Mace before starting training, then report a separate final fight as the sixth training objective. Completing the weapon drop step does not replace that final task. Pro Game Guides and community guides describe the training sequence; use the in-game tracker to verify the current objectives.
