To unlock Insect Breathing in Slayers 2, reach level 25 and speak to Shinora on the roof of the house behind Shiori at Butterfly Estate. Guides agree that the cost is 3,500 Wen and 15 Demon Horns, but one recent guide also lists 3 Beast Cores; check Shinora’s live prompt before setting out. You must also complete five training activities and defeat the Insect Trainee.
Where to find Shinora in Slayers 2
Travel to Butterfly Estate and look for the house near the estate spawn area. Shinora is on its roof, around the back of the building from Shiori, who stands at its base. Use Shiori or the spawn crystal as your landmark, climb onto the roof, then go around the rear corner. Pro Game Guides and Roblox Den describe this route; neither provides verified map coordinates.

Pro Game Guides and Roblox Den both place Shinora on the rooftop behind the Shiori landmark.
Level and materials required
Recent guides agree on the level gate and two material costs. The Beast Core requirement is disputed, so do not assume it is required—or assume it is not—without checking the current in-game prompt.

| Requirement | What recent guides report |
|---|---|
| Level | Level 25 |
| Wen | 3,500 Wen |
| Demon Horns | 15 Demon Horns |
| Beast Cores | Roblox Den lists 3; Pro Game Guides and TechWiser do not. The guides do not resolve whether this is a new requirement or an omission. |
Pro Game Guides (updated September 25, 2026) and TechWiser (updated September 29, 2026) report level 25, 3,500 Wen, and 15 Demon Horns. Roblox Den (published September 29, 2026) reports those same requirements plus 3 Beast Cores. These are secondary walkthroughs, not official developer documentation; requirements may change with updates.
Roblox Den suggests repeatable quests for Wen, High Demons or Hoyuzo Subordinates for Demon Horns, and Beast Born Demons in Mistfall Harbor for Beast Cores. These are that guide’s farming suggestions, not independently confirmed drop guarantees. Check Shinora’s dialogue before farming a disputed item.

Complete the Insect Breathing training
Reaching level 25 and finding Shinora are not enough: the reported unlock chain includes five exercises followed by a fight. Pro Game Guides lists the following sequence. Follow the live quest marker if the game’s directions differ.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →- Meditate: In the house to the right of the Butterfly Estate spawn crystal, enter the second room and interact with the mat. Click when the yellow cursor reaches the white ball until the progress reaches 100%; the guide reports that one completed meditation is required.
- Aim Training: At the target-shooting area near the training house, use either target board. Click the appearing targets and finish the mini-game once.
- Cup Training: In the third room of the large house to the right of the spawn crystal, select the coin cup ten times. Pro Game Guides recommends doing this in daytime so the coin is easier to see.
- Push-ups: Use the mat in the first room of that house and time clicks with the moving circles. Complete the exercise once.
- Boulder Split: Interact with either boulder at the boulder location and complete the on-screen circle-and-line interaction once.
- Defeat the Insect Trainee: After finishing the exercises, find and defeat the trainee just outside the Butterfly Estate area.
Roblox Den also describes five activities followed by the trainee fight. The detailed steps above come from the Pro Game Guides walkthrough; they have not been independently verified in a live run.
