The Remote Systems CCTV console sequence in SWDP – Different, Part 6, Chapter 15, “Trying Again,” requires you to enter an objective, read the matching equipment identifier from a camera view or nearby document, and confirm the command. The route runs through Valve B, Filter A, the AUX room, Aux Line B, the Regulator, and Valve F. The Regulator number is inconsistent across published walkthroughs, so use the display and acceptance feedback in your game rather than assuming one transcription is definitive.
Spoilers: This covers the Remote Systems console in CEG HQ. It is not the earlier security-room access-card puzzle, projector puzzle, or gas-flow puzzle.

How to enter a CCTV console command
Choose the two symbols that match the current objective, enter the equipment number, and confirm. The camera numbers identify the views; they are not the codes. Read the equipment identifier shown within the relevant camera image, or use the nearby control document when specified. The chapter walkthrough also advises reading identifiers directly from the camera views.
Remote Systems console solutions in order
- Open Valve B: Select the Open and Valve symbols. Check camera 005 for Valve B’s identifier. The source-reviewed guide reports 254.
- Start Filter A: Select Start and Filter. Check camera 000. The guide reports 103.
- Get the AUX key and complete the switch groups: Enter 0825 at the locker beside the console. Take the key upstairs and finish all three Auxiliary Lines switch groups, then return to the console.
- Flush Aux Line B: Use 246, the identifier printed in the Remote Systems Control document beside the console.
- Stop the Regulator: Check camera 002. The wall is reported to show 781, but published walkthroughs disagree about whether the accepted entry is 178 or 781. Read the display in your own game and follow the objective and acceptance feedback.
- Unlock the Valve F door: Check camera 004 for the number above the door. The guide reports 592.
- Open Valve F manually: Leave the console, go downstairs, and turn Valve F. Then return to the control-room printer and follow the clamp-panel instructions that appear next.
Why some walkthrough numbers differ
Published guides do not agree on every transcription. The source-reviewed guide reports Valve B as 254 and Filter A as 103, while noting that PowerPyx prints 245 and 130 for those inputs. The Regulator wall is described as showing 781, but walkthroughs differ between entering 178 and 781. No confirmed build or difficulty explanation accounts for these discrepancies. These are reports from unofficial guides, not an official Konami code sheet; treat the values as pointers and verify what your game displays and accepts. PowerPyx’s walkthrough is one of the guides cited in the comparison.
#1 Best Overall
- Experienced entirely in first person, explore, evade, and survive using a limited set of weapons and tools, including a pocket television used to tune into unstable signals. Evasion is tense; combat is frenetic, while narrative driven puzzles reveal a truth that refuses to stay submerged.
- SILENT HILL: Townfall is a full-length, self-contained psychological horror set against the cold, isolated backdrop of Scotland, 1996
If a command is rejected
- Check that the two symbols match the current objective, and enter them before the digits.
- Pan or zoom the camera image to read the equipment identifier. Do not enter the camera’s view number in its place.
- After Filter A, leave the console, open the AUX locker, and complete the three Auxiliary Lines switch groups before resuming.
- After unlocking the Valve F door, turn the valve downstairs by hand; then return to the printer and console area.
Scope and source context
The detailed sequence and values are drawn from unofficial walkthroughs. The source-reviewed guide says it compared several guides, notes the conflicting transcriptions, and states that its author did not perform a game run. Its publisher describes the guide as independent and unofficial and says it was updated 27 September 2026. The chapter walkthrough separately describes the initial CCTV actions and directs players to read identifiers in the camera views. There is no established official code list or first-hand verification in these sources.
