SignNow’s iOS and Android apps cover mobile document signing, sending, form filling, and management. SignNow also documents offline signing and in-person signature collection. Those capabilities come from SignNow’s help pages and app listing; they are not an independent hands-on assessment of ease of use, reliability, or value.
What the SignNow mobile app is for
SignNow distributes its mobile apps for smartphones and tablets running iOS or Android. The company says the apps are not available to install on PCs or laptops. For the exact device scope, see SignNow’s mobile experience documentation.

Apple’s US App Store listing advertises signing and sending PDF and Word documents, filling forms, importing files, using templates, collaborating, arranging signer roles and order, tracking document status, and viewing audit history. It also advertises converting images to PDF and offline use. These are listing claims, not independently verified findings. The listing showed 4.5 out of 5 from 18K ratings when retrieved in 2026; both the score and rating count can change. See the Apple App Store listing.

SignNow’s help center says its iOS and Android apps support offline signing. It lists preparing documents, collecting signatures, viewing audit trails, and checking document status among the supported offline activities. The documentation does not spell out every offline limitation or explain how sync conflicts are handled, so do not assume every account function or update will be available without a connection. Check the official mobile experience page for the documented scope.

How signing and in-person workflows work
Signing a document someone sent you
SignNow says recipients can sign in the app without creating an account unless the sender’s compliance settings require signup. The signing instructions allow a signature to be drawn, typed, or uploaded as an image. The recipient workflow is described in SignNow’s guide to signing a received document.
Collecting a signature in person
When the sender and signer are together, SignNow’s mobile in-person workflow lets the sender open a document, start in-person mode, and hand the device to the signer to review and sign. The process is intended for a phone or tablet shared between people at the point of signing; follow the steps in SignNow’s in-person signing guide.

Exporting completed documents
SignNow’s mobile export documentation lists several ways to move a document after signing: download it to the device, email it, share it, export it to a cloud service, or print it. The named cloud destinations include Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive. Available options may depend on the device and installed apps; consult SignNow’s iOS and Android export instructions.
Security and compliance: what the claims establish
SignNow describes encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit trails, signature stamps, authentication options, and compliance-related controls. Its security page discusses GDPR, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, and eIDAS, and refers to specialized settings for 21 CFR Part 11 workflows. These are statements by the vendor, not an independent audit or a legal determination that a particular account, document, or workflow satisfies a reader’s obligations. Organizations should verify the controls and configuration needed for their own requirements with SignNow’s security and compliance documentation.

What this review can—and cannot—say about the app
The available documentation supports a clear feature-level assessment: SignNow describes mobile signing, sending and document handling, offline signing, in-person collection, and multiple export methods. It does not establish how easy or fast the workflows feel in everyday use, how reliably they work across devices, or how SignNow compares with other e-signature apps in practice.
Current subscription prices and plan limits are not established here, so value cannot be assessed from the documented features alone. Google Play search results included an individual complaint about pricing and access alongside a developer response; one review does not show how common that experience is. See the Google Play listing for current Android app information and feedback.

Verdict
SignNow’s documented mobile feature set is relevant if you need to sign or send documents on a phone or tablet, collect a signature while with the signer, or continue specified signing tasks offline. Its own documentation provides the best basis for understanding those workflows. Treat claims about security and compliance as vendor statements, and check current pricing and plan limits before deciding whether the app fits your needs.
