Choose by workload, not by product name
Use the API for application-driven captures
An API is the closer fit when your own application or job scheduler decides which URLs to capture and when, or when you need to integrate capture into a workflow. Compare the API plan’s successful-render quota, request rate, capture eligibility for third-party sites, timeout and file-size limits, and storage integrations against your actual use.
Use bulk capture for recurring lists
The bulk product is the more direct match when you need scheduled snapshots of many pages without building the scheduling and batch workflow yourself. Check its simultaneous-page limit, monthly capture allowance, available schedule frequency, reporting, retention, storage options, and seats. Confirm that its cadence covers your monitoring need: an hourly or five-minute check may call for a different plan than daily or weekly snapshots.
Account for what counts as a capture
Urlbox’s API pricing page says first-time screenshots and REST API screenshots count against quota; its FAQ says cached Render Link screenshots are cached for 30 days and do not count again during that period. Confirm how this applies to your URLs and workflow before estimating monthly usage. What Indian teams should verify before procurement
Urlbox advertises geographic capture and localization, and its homepage says captures can be made from 200+ countries. Its product materials list US or EU infrastructure. The reviewed pages do not specifically confirm India as a selectable capture origin, nor do they establish India-based processing or storage. - Ask whether India is selectable as a capture origin on the exact plan you are considering.
