1. Enable full-length capture for the request
The Drupal 8 ShrinkTheWeb integration documents a full_length parameter for capturing beyond the initial viewport. Its advanced example sets '#full_length' => true. Check the render array or per-request configuration used for the affected capture, rather than assuming that a full-page setting is active globally. See the Drupal 8 setup and usage guide.

If the request uses a basic rendering or field-formatter setup, it may inherit the module’s global settings. Use an advanced request configuration when only one capture needs a different setting.

A screenshot can be full-length in principle and still appear cut off because the output height or layout is constrained. The Drupal guide lists separate parameters for output size and browser viewport:

max_heightis a maximum output height, so inspect it if the image ends at a fixed point.custom_widthchanges the output width and may alter how the page appears.native_resolutionandwidescreen_resolution_yset viewport dimensions in the guide’s example. They are not interchangeable with a full-length setting.
These are documented parameters, not recommended default values. Compare the affected request with a known-good one and adjust only the setting that explains the symptom.
3. Check whether Drupal’s global settings override the capture
The Drupal 8 guide says basic rendering and field formatters use global ShrinkTheWeb settings. A change to dimensions, capture length, or browser resolution can therefore affect every screenshot instance in that Drupal installation. If only one page needs a different configuration, use advanced per-request parameters instead of changing a global value and unintentionally changing other captures.

4. If you get the homepage, verify the URL and account capability
First confirm that Drupal is passing the intended inner-page URL, including the correct scheme and path. The Drupal guide also says that accounts without an “Inside Pages” upgrade capture the homepage only. That is a statement in documentation last updated March 4, 2019; it does not establish that the named upgrade or its terms are still available. Check current ShrinkTheWeb account and service documentation before relying on it.
5. Allow for pages that finish rendering late
The Drupal integration example includes a delay value described as seconds to wait after page load. If content appears only after the initial page load, inspect whether a delay is configured and whether the value is appropriate for the target page. The guide does not promise that delay fixes lazy loading, scripts, or any particular current rendering problem, so treat it as a setting to test rather than a guaranteed remedy.

The same example documents quality on a 1–100 scale. That affects image appearance, not whether a capture is full-length; it is unlikely to address missing content below the viewport.
6. Treat Drupal 7 instructions as legacy
The Drupal 7 ShrinkTheWeb setup page was last updated March 4, 2019 and states that Drupal 7 is no longer supported. It may help locate old integration details such as access keys, cache folders, retention settings, and optional API parameters, but do not assume its steps describe current compatibility. Drupal.org’s separate Website Screenshot project page lists ShrinkTheWeb among screenshot engines and marks full-length/custom-size and inside-page capture as paid in its integration comparison.
