Open the Clock app, tap Alarm, then tap the plus sign to create an alarm. Set the time, choose whether it repeats, adjust any sound or snooze options you need, and tap Save. Menu labels can differ across Galaxy devices because they depend on the One UI and Clock app versions.
Create a new alarm

Open Clock and select the Alarm tab.

Tap the plus sign or Add alarm.

Set the hour and minute.

For a repeating alarm, select the weekdays it should ring. For a one-time alarm on a particular date, use the calendar or date control if your device offers one. Check the selected days or date before continuing.

Optionally add a label, then choose the sound, volume, vibration, and snooze settings you want.

Tap Save, then check that the alarm is enabled in the alarm list.

Samsung’s U.S. support guide and Japan support guide describe this basic Clock-app workflow. The exact screen may differ by device and software version.
Choose a one-time or repeating schedule
Use repeat-day selections when you want an alarm on the same weekdays, such as Monday through Friday. For an alarm tied to a specific future date, select a date through the calendar control if it appears. A one-time alarm and a weekday schedule are different: confirm the schedule displayed on the alarm before saving so it does not ring on unintended days.
Adjust the sound, vibration, and snooze
Open the alarm’s settings to choose its alert sound, adjust its volume slider if shown, and select vibration and snooze preferences. These controls are configurable in Samsung’s documented Clock workflow, but their placement and available choices can vary by app version.

Start by opening the individual alarm and checking its sound and volume controls. On devices running One UI 7, Samsung also documents a Clock settings path for choosing how alarm volume is controlled:

Open Clock.

Tap More options, then Settings.

Tap Volume.

Choose a shared volume for all alarms or set volume per alarm.
The per-alarm and shared-volume choice is documented for One UI 7; other software versions may have different settings or labels. See Samsung’s One UI 7 alarm instructions for that version’s route.
Edit, pause, or delete an alarm
Edit its time or options
In the Alarm tab, tap the alarm you want to change, update its time or settings, and save.
Pause it without removing it
Turn off the switch beside the alarm in the list. Its settings remain available if you want to enable it again later.

Delete it
Use the delete action available on your device. The control can differ across Clock app versions, so follow the option shown in the alarm list or alarm settings.

Check that it is enabled. Confirm the switch beside the alarm is on.

Verify the schedule. Reopen the alarm and check its time, selected repeat days, or date.

Check the alarm’s own sound and volume. Make sure a sound is selected and the volume is audible; check whether vibration is enabled if you rely on it.

Look for the silence-with-system-sound setting. Samsung’s U.S. alarm instructions include an option to silence alarms when system sound is off. If your alarm is silent, check whether that option is enabled in Clock settings.

Allow for software differences. If a documented setting is missing, the Clock app or One UI version on your device may use a different menu or may not offer that option.
Whether an alarm rings while a particular device is powered off is not established as a universal behavior. Check the manual or Samsung support guidance for your exact Galaxy model rather than relying on a general rule.

Samsung documents asking Bixby to create or turn off an alarm. This is optional: Bixby Voice is required, and availability depends on the Galaxy model, carrier, and software version. The Clock app remains the dependable starting point when voice commands are unavailable.
