The game combines familiar Serious Sam weapons with new ones, but its official store listing does not provide a complete catalog, numerical weapon statistics, unlock costs, or a verified ranking. Build around your run
During a run, collect Multiverse Intel. The developer says Intel can boost stats, unlock active abilities, and provide tactical perks. Your loadout is temporary: the developer notes that death ends the run and its loadout. As a practical tip—not an officially endorsed optimal build—choose upgrades that reinforce a coherent approach rather than treating each pickup as an unrelated bonus. Keep permanent progression separate
Permanent upgrades expand the possibilities available in later runs; they are distinct from the weapons and Intel you have in hand during the current attempt. If a run ends, assess your longer-term progression separately from the lost run loadout. How to approach secrets and risky opportunities
The developer describes replaying missions to find secrets and pursue higher scores as part of the design. Choose optional risk based on the run
Because anomalies and portals can carry a downside, weigh optional opportunities against the state of your current attempt. If your build is working and you are close to a goal, a high-risk detour may be less attractive; if you are exploring or pursuing a score, testing an optional route may be worthwhile. That is a decision framework based on the stated risk-and-reward design, not a claim that any specific anomaly always pays off.

Use repeat runs to learn routes
Replayability is the sound basis for secret hunting: observe where a portal or anomaly appears, what changes when you take it, and whether the route is repeatable in your current version. Do not treat an unverified fan walkthrough as an official, fixed route—runs shift, and the official sources do not establish exact secret locations.

Steam identifies the game as developed by Behaviour Interactive and published by Devolver Digital, with an August 31, 2026 release date. Shatterverse is presented as a roguelite FPS with procedurally shifting runs across hand-crafted arenas, rather than a conventional fixed campaign. Its store description says players must bring down five lieutenants and describes weapons, boons, run modifiers, and permanent upgrades that broaden future possibilities. For a useful mental model, separate the loop into the choices that affect the attempt in progress—equipment, Intel, boons, modifiers, and optional risks—and longer-term upgrades that carry forward. The official sources reviewed do not provide exact boss strategies, a complete progression map, or guaranteed drops.

The Xbox Store lists the game for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Xbox Series X|S optimization and Xbox Play Anywhere.
