Pass cookies directly
Use cookies for one or more cookie pairs. ScreenshotAPI’s documented form is a semicolon-separated string:

ScreenshotAPI describes saving a named Cookie Template in its dashboard and referring to it with template_id. Its render reference says template cookie data is applied before navigation, which is useful when the same cookie state must be reused across captures.

Build the request safely
The parameter examples above show the documented value formats, not a complete API URL: the material available here does not specify ScreenshotAPI’s endpoint, authentication parameter, or a full URL-encoding recipe. Add the parameters to the request shape in your existing ScreenshotAPI integration rather than guessing an endpoint. Use your language’s query-parameter encoder to construct the URL; do not concatenate untrusted values into a query string.
For example, the values to encode are conceptually:

Check whether the site expects an authorization header, cookies, or an interactive login flow. Confirm that the credentials are current and that the template identifier refers to the intended saved cookie set. Some sites require additional steps, so neither method guarantees access.

Confirm that the header name and value are formatted as a pair and separated from other pairs with semicolons. If the site uses a different mechanism for language or context, use the corresponding documented control rather than assuming the custom header will affect it.
Values containing punctuation behave unexpectedly
The documented examples do not explain escaping for literal semicolons or other reserved characters. Encode query parameters with the client library, and consult ScreenshotAPI’s current documentation for cases the examples do not cover.

A saved template does not restore the session
Check that the template ID is correct and that its cookie data is still valid. A session may expire or require authentication state not represented by those cookies.
