Package-manager install-script behavior can affect whether the browser is downloaded, so follow the current setup documentation for your environment.

Puppeteer cannot find Chrome
The full puppeteer package downloads a compatible Chrome during installation, while puppeteer-core does not. Check that the package installation completed as intended and follow the current Puppeteer setup guidance for the package manager and runtime you use. If you use puppeteer-core, provide and manage the browser in your environment.
The screenshot is blank or captures an unfinished page
Check whether navigation completed and whether your chosen readiness condition matches the page. The documented guide example uses networkidle2, but a page with ongoing network activity may need a different condition or a wait for a specific selector. Inspect the page and error handling rather than assuming one wait setting works for every site.
