Press Home on your Samsung TV remote, then look in the Smart Hub or Apps interface for Internet or Web Browser. Open it, select the address field, enter a website, and press Enter. Your TV needs an internet connection and Smart Hub set up; the exact menu path varies by model and region.
Open the browser from Home or Smart Hub
- Make sure the TV is connected to the internet and Smart Hub has been set up. Samsung lists both as requirements for using its browser on supported QLED TVs. Samsung Germany’s browser guidance
- Press Home on the remote to open the TV’s Home or Smart Hub interface. Look for Internet or Web Browser. Depending on the model, it may be listed under Media or directly in the interface.
- Select the browser app. Choose its address or URL field, enter the website address, and press Enter. Samsung Hong Kong documents this method and gives a separate example route using the Smart TV button and Web Browser. These are examples, not universal menu paths. Samsung Hong Kong’s instructions
Use the remote’s directional controls to move through page elements and scroll; press Enter to select. Samsung notes that the directional keys can move the pointer and that Enter acts like a click. Samsung Germany support

If Internet or Web Browser is missing
Menu names and sequences differ across TV models, regions, and purchase locations, so first search the Home or Apps interface for both Internet and Web Browser. If neither appears, check the manual for your exact model or contact Samsung support. A missing menu item alone does not establish that the browser can be installed from an app store.
Make browsing easier with a keyboard or mouse
The remote is sufficient for basic navigation, but entering a long web address with directional controls can be cumbersome. A USB keyboard or compatible wireless keyboard and mouse may make text entry and pointer control easier. Why a website may not work as expected
Samsung’s browser capabilities depend on the web engine used by the TV, and feature support is not identical across generations. Samsung Developer lists these model-year and engine combinations; the page does not state a publication year. Samsung Developer: Web Engine Specifications

For one specific older-model example, Samsung’s troubleshooting guidance for a 2011 TV says its built-in browser supports HTML but not all websites, and that some pages may load or respond slowly. You do not need PC on TV, screen sharing, DeX, or Workspace to open an ordinary website in the built-in browser. Samsung describes those as separate capabilities, with availability depending on the TV model and software. Samsung Saudi Arabia: PC on TV and Samsung Canada: Workspace
