It is a strong fit for buyers seeking a high-end OLED for bright-room viewing and gaming, but the available independent measurements are from a single 65-inch sample—not every size. Samsung’s announced US launch prices range from $2,499.99 for 55 inches to $6,499.99 for 83 inches.
What is the Samsung S95H?
The S95H sits above Samsung’s S90H and S85H in the company’s 2026 OLED range. Samsung highlights OLED HDR Pro, Glare Free, NQ4 AI Gen3 processing, Art Store and Motion Xcelerator 165Hz. The company also lists AI Soccer Mode Pro, Dolby Atmos support across its 2026 OLED line, and G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Premium Pro for the S95H and S90H. These are manufacturer claims and feature descriptions, not a substitute for independent testing.

For the 65-inch model, Tom’s Guide lists 4K resolution (3,840 × 2,160), 165Hz, four HDMI 2.1 ports and One UI Tizen. Its listed HDR formats are HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG. TechRadar’s review specifications also list Dolby Atmos and Tizen. Confirm the exact model’s manual for connection details and setup requirements.

How bright is the S95H, and is it good for a bright room?
TechRadar measured its 65-inch test sample at 2,739 nits in HDR Filmmaker Mode on a 10% window, and 449 nits fullscreen. In HDR Standard Mode, the same outlet measured 2,831 nits on a 10% window and 463 nits fullscreen. These are sample- and picture-mode-specific results; peak small-window brightness is not the same as sustained brightness across the whole screen.

Samsung’s Glare Free positioning makes reflection handling a central part of the S95H’s pitch. TechRadar’s measurements indicate strong HDR highlights on its 65-inch unit, but they do not establish identical brightness or reflection performance across all four sizes. If you watch in a sunlit room, consider where windows and lamps fall relative to the screen, and look for a size-specific review before assuming the 55-, 77- or 83-inch set performs identically.
Is the S95H good for gaming?
Samsung describes Motion Xcelerator 165Hz and G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Premium Pro support on the S95H. Tom’s Guide lists four HDMI 2.1 ports on the 65-inch set. That combination makes the model worth considering for high-refresh-rate PC gaming and for console users who want multiple HDMI 2.1 inputs. A 165Hz panel does not make every game or connected device run at 165 frames per second; the source device, game, connection and settings all matter.
Samsung also highlights AI Soccer Mode Pro. Treat it as a manufacturer-promoted viewing feature rather than evidence of a tested improvement for every sport or broadcast. Buyers prioritizing gaming should check their device’s output modes and the exact TV manual rather than assume every HDMI source supports every advertised refresh-rate or variable-refresh feature.

What do the four US S95H model numbers and prices mean?
The model codes identify the US size variants: QN55S95HAFXZA is 55 inches, QN65S95HAFXZA is 65 inches, QN77S95HAFXZA is 77 inches, and QN83S95HAEXZA is 83 inches. Samsung Newsroom US announced the following US launch prices in 2026. They are announcement prices, not a live quote; current price, discounts and inventory can change.
| Screen size | US model code | Samsung-announced US launch price (2026) |
|---|---|---|
| 55-inch | QN55S95HAFXZA | $2,499.99 |
| 65-inch | QN65S95HAFXZA | $3,399.99 |
| 77-inch | QN77S95HAFXZA | $4,499.99 |
| 83-inch | QN83S95HAEXZA | $6,499.99 |
TechRadar reports different dollar figures in its review: $2,299 for 55 inches, $3,299 for 65 inches, $4,299 for 77 inches and $6,299 for 83 inches; its prose also calls $3,299 the tested 65-inch set’s launch price. Those figures should not be conflated with Samsung’s announced US launch prices. Check the seller’s current listing for the price you would actually pay.
Does panel type differ by screen size?
It may, according to TechRadar’s review: the outlet identifies its tested 65-inch model as QD-OLED and says the 83-inch version uses LG WOLED. Samsung’s cited US product pages describe these televisions as OLED but do not confirm those construction details. Treat the panel-type distinction as TechRadar’s reporting, not an official Samsung specification. The available sources do not establish the panel construction of every size variant.

What software and long-term support should buyers expect?
Samsung says its 2026 lineup’s One UI Tizen receives up to seven years of OS updates. “Up to” is the company’s support commitment and does not mean every update arrives on a fixed schedule. Samsung also says network-based smart services require an account and internet connection, and that channel availability can vary and change. Buyers who rely on particular streaming apps or services should verify availability for their region and account before purchasing.

Is the Samsung S95H worth it?
The S95H is easiest to justify if you want Samsung’s top 2026 OLED tier, value the advertised 165Hz gaming features, or need the Glare Free design for a room where reflections are a concern. TechRadar’s reviewer, James, wrote, “Picture quality on the S95H is superb.” That is the reviewer’s assessment of the set, alongside the outlet’s measurements of its 65-inch sample—not a guarantee about every room, size or viewing mode.
It is a less straightforward choice if price is the overriding concern, or if you need proven, directly comparable measurements across all four sizes before committing. Compare the current price against the S90H and other televisions you are considering, then weigh screen size, reflections, gaming inputs and the smart services you actually use. For wall mounting, check the exact model’s manual for its VESA pattern and weight; those details are not established here.
