For a standard Samsung refrigerator shelf, open the door fully, gently lift the shelf at the front, and slide it toward the opening. The bottom glass shelf above the crisper drawers may use a different release, and Samsung notes that removal steps vary by model. If your shelf does not move as described, stop rather than force it and check your refrigerator’s model-specific manual.
Remove a standard refrigerator shelf

Open the refrigerator door fully so you have room to move the shelf.

Hold the shelf by its front edge. Gently lift the front and slide the shelf toward the opening. Samsung describes this general method for standard shelves, but support shapes vary by model; do not force the shelf or lift it in a way that conflicts with its supports. Set the removed shelf on a clean, flat surface and support it as you handle it.

Remove the bottom glass shelf above the crisper drawers
This assembly may connect to a drawer divider and water-filter housing, so it can require more preparation than a standard shelf. Follow these steps only if your shelf matches the described arrangement; consult your model manual if its parts or release points differ.

Remove the lower door bins and both crisper drawers. Angle each drawer slightly toward the center as you slide it out.

Locate the tabs on both sides of the drawer divider and water-filter housing. Press and hold the tabs.

Lift the shelf away from the housing. Slightly raise it while pulling it away from the rear wall, then angle one side downward if needed to clear the refrigerator opening.

Place the shelf carefully on a clean, flat surface. Samsung describes this sequence for the more complex bottom-shelf arrangement in its US removal guide and in its French-door bottom-shelf guide.

Separate glass from its frame only when clips are designed to release
Some framed shelves have removable retainer clips at the rear corners; others do not. Do not pry apart a shelf that has no release clips, because separating a non-removable assembly can damage it.

If your shelf has the described clips, turn it over to reach the retaining tabs.

Press the tab nearest the center while slightly lifting that rear corner. Remove both clips.

Gently raise the glass and separate it from the frame. To reassemble, reverse the steps and make sure the clips are secured.
Samsung Gulf says that for the assembly covered by its French-door guide, damaged retainer clips cannot be replaced individually and the entire shelf must be replaced. That warning applies to the assembly described there, not necessarily to every Samsung refrigerator.

Insert the top hook into the upper notch.

Lower the shelf so the bottom hook engages, then check that the shelf is seated securely before putting food on it.

Support the glass while lifting and moving it. Samsung warns that glass can break and cause injury.

Let cold glass reach room temperature before cleaning. Do not pour warm or hot water on cold shelf glass; Samsung advises using lukewarm water once it has warmed.

For cleaning shelves and bins, Samsung Singapore recommends mild detergent in warm water or glass cleaner. Cleaning supplies are not needed to remove the shelf. Samsung Singapore’s shelf and bin cleaning guidance

Do not move freezer shelves to different positions without checking your model guidance; Samsung notes that freezer shelf lengths can differ.
When the removal steps do not match your shelf
Samsung documents model-specific differences, including a moving-tray shelf that is removed by lifting from underneath rather than pulling from the front. That instruction is associated with the RH62, RS58, and RS62 refrigerator families and should not be applied to other models without confirmation. If the shelf looks different, will not release, or seems to require disassembly beyond the steps for its assembly, stop and check the manual for your exact model or contact Samsung support.
