Samsung QA75LS03FWWXXY Review: 75-Inch Frame Pro Tested

The 75-inch Samsung Frame Pro pairs a matte 4K screen and art-display design with wireless One Connect, but availability and contrast performance deserve a close look.

The Samsung QA75LS03FWWXXY is the 75-inch Australian 2025 The Frame Pro: a 4K TV designed to look like framed art when idle, with a matte screen, included Slim-Fit wall mount and wireless One Connect box. Its best case is a clean, design-led living room; it is a less obvious choice if your first priority is deep HDR contrast or low-latency PC gaming through the wireless connection. Samsung currently marks the model “Not for sale,” while CHOICE lists it as discontinued, so verify local stock and the retailer’s price and terms before deciding.

What the Samsung QA75LS03FWWXXY is

This is the Australian 75-inch 2025 Samsung The Frame Pro, model QA75LS03FWWXXY. Samsung categorises it as Neo QLED; CHOICE describes the display as LCD. Those labels describe different levels of the product rather than conflicting identities. The set combines a conventional 4K television with Art Mode and a matte, anti-reflection screen intended to make the screen look more like displayed artwork when not in use.

Samsung’s description is direct: “Transform The Frame Pro into art when you’re not watching TV.” It is a design-oriented TV first, not simply a standard television with a decorative frame.

Picture quality: matte presentation, with a contrast caveat

The Australian specification sheet lists a 75-inch 3,840 × 2,160 display, 100 Hz native refresh rate, NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, Neo Quantum HDR, HDR10+ Adaptive and Gaming, wide viewing angle, 4K AI Upscaling Pro and Quantum Matrix Technology Slim. Samsung Newsroom separately advertises a dynamic refresh rate of up to 144 Hz; that figure is not the same as the sheet’s 100 Hz native rate.

  • DTS Virtual-X Sound: An immersive sound format creates a three-dimensional sound experience with your TV’s speakers.

The matte finish is a central part of the appeal: it reduces the mirror-like look of reflections and supports the framed-art effect. It does not by itself establish how bright or contrasty the TV will look in every room, so consider the room’s light, viewing habits and your tolerance for reflections alongside the design.

Independent results need careful scope. ChooseTV’s review, published 18 September 2025 and updated 25 September 2026, tested a 65-inch Frame Pro, not this 75-inch model. The reviewer reports up to 900 nits peak-scene brightness, and describes 24 local-dimming zones positioned along the lower edge on the 65-inch sample. The review says that dimming performance felt closer to edge-lit television than dense full-array Mini-LED. The zone count must not be assumed for the 75-inch QA75LS03FWWXXY: the cited test did not measure this exact size.

ChooseTV also reports that factory HDR brightness handling clipped highlights in its test, while manual calibration improved its results; its assessment of SDR Filmmaker Mode was more favourable. These are observations from the reviewer’s tested unit and firmware context, not a guarantee of identical behaviour on every 75-inch set.

Art Mode, mounting and the One Connect box

The Australian listing says the Slim-Fit wall mount is included, and Samsung’s 2025 launch coverage describes the installation as nearly flush to the wall. Art Mode and customisable bezel options support the framed-picture look. Samsung lists complimentary Art Store Streams—30 refreshed monthly—and more than 70 ambient items through the year; internet access is required. A paid Art Store subscription is also available.

Wireless One Connect lets compatible source devices connect to a separate box rather than requiring their cables to run directly to the screen. It does not make the installation cable-free: the television still needs a power cable. Samsung cautions that wireless operating distance varies and that obstacles, including a wall or closed metal cabinet, can impair the connection. Plan where the box will sit and how power will reach the display before choosing a wall location.

Gaming and connectivity

Samsung lists five HDMI inputs, eARC, and support for a maximum 4K 144 Hz input on all five. Gaming features include VRR, ALLM, FreeSync Premium Pro, HGiG and HDR10+ Gaming. The set also has two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3.

For consoles, the headline feature set is broad. For latency-sensitive PC use, the more relevant caveat comes from ChooseTV: its reviewer flagged high input lag and less readable fonts when using the wireless module, and suggested a direct connection for those uses. This is a reviewer finding, not a universal measurement across all configurations. If competitive play or desktop text clarity matters, verify the exact connection setup and return policy before purchase.

Smart TV, sound and everyday features

The listed smart features include Tizen, Bixby, built-in Alexa, Samsung TV Plus, a web browser, AirPlay 2, SmartThings and Matter hub functions, and Multi View for up to two videos. Gaming Hub availability includes Australia. Samsung lists four 40 W RMS speakers in a 2.0.2-channel arrangement, Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound, Adaptive Sound Pro and Q-Symphony Pro. These are specifications, not a promise that the built-in sound will suit every room; eARC provides a route to connect a compatible external audio system.

Australian price and availability

Samsung Australia’s product page showed “Not for sale” when checked on 7 October 2026, and CHOICE labels the model “Discontinued model.” Those statuses do not prove that every Australian retailer is out of stock, but they make live retailer checks essential.

Price reference What it means
$5,174 Samsung Newsroom’s reported Australian launch RRP for the 75-inch model in 2025; dealer pricing was discretionary, so this is not a current price.
$3,999 Price displayed on CHOICE’s public listing accessed 7 October 2026; the page marks the model discontinued and the displayed price may be stale.

Samsung’s page showed a 4.6 customer-review score at access. Samsung notes that its review summaries are AI-generated and may include incentivised reviews, so treat that score as customer feedback rather than controlled picture or performance testing. Samsung lists security updates through 31 December 2030.

Who should consider it?

The QA75LS03FWWXXY makes most sense for someone who specifically wants a large framed-art look, a matte display, a near-flush wall presentation and flexibility to place source devices away from the screen. Its appeal depends on valuing that presentation enough to accept the trade-offs and the potentially limited availability.

  • Consider it if: Art Mode and the room-facing design matter as much as conventional TV use, and you want the included wall mount and separate wireless connection box.
  • Look elsewhere if: your main goal is maximum HDR contrast and local-dimming precision, strongest value per dollar, or latency-sensitive PC gaming over the wireless box.
  • Compare before buying: assess a standard Frame, OLED and conventional full-array Mini-LED options for picture performance, room brightness, gaming setup, audio needs, fit and total cost. The available evidence does not provide controlled side-by-side measurements against named competing models.

Before paying, confirm that the retailer has the exact 75-inch QA75LS03FWWXXY in stock, and check the current price, return terms, warranty and local support. If adding a bezel or soundbar, verify 75-inch Frame Pro compatibility and the specific audio connection requirements.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
