Open the blocked-number list

Open the Phone app.

Tap More options, usually shown as three vertical dots in the upper-right corner.

Tap Block numbers to review the numbers managed by the Phone app’s block list.

Samsung’s current US Phone app guide demonstrates this route on a Galaxy S25. The setting is built into the Phone app, so checking the list does not require installing another app. Menu names and availability can differ by model, software version, and carrier.

Remove a number from the list
On the Block numbers screen, tap the minus icon beside the number you want to unblock. Samsung’s support documentation describes this action as removing the number from the block list. Once removed, the number is no longer blocked by that list; exact call and message behavior can depend on the device and carrier.
Use another route if you already have the contact or call open
From Contacts
For a saved contact, open Contacts, select the person, tap More, then choose Unblock contact. Samsung documents this option in its guide to blocking and unblocking a number or contact.

From Recents
If you are starting with a recent call, open its details in Recents and look for the block or unblock control. Samsung’s instructions vary by device and software version; its India support guide describes a call-log route.
Know which blocking setting you are checking
Block numbers is the direct place to inspect numbers manually added to the Phone app’s list, including numbers selected from Recents, Messages, or Contacts where supported. It is separate from call filtering for unknown or unspecified numbers and from caller ID and spam protection. Samsung describes spam-protection choices such as blocking all identified spam and scam calls or only high-risk scam calls; availability can vary by carrier and software version. A blocked contact can remain saved in Contacts even though they cannot reach you through the blocking feature. Samsung says blocking may affect calls and text messages, but the precise behavior and available controls can vary by device and carrier. If your concern is that a blocked caller can still leave voicemail, Samsung’s US support guidance says you may need to contact your carrier to prevent that.

Make sure you opened the Phone app’s settings, not the phone’s general Settings app.

Look for Block numbers, Blocked numbers, or a similarly named option. Labels and screens vary across Galaxy models, software versions, and wireless providers.

If you are trying to stop unknown callers or suspected spam rather than inspect one specific number, check the separate call-filtering and spam-protection settings instead.
