Samsung does not sell a standard premium Galaxy Tab S10 in the lineup announced in 2024: that generation launched as the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. The closest comparison for the standard 11-inch Galaxy Tab S11 is the 12.4-inch Tab S10+, but they are different size classes. Choose the S11 for the newer, smaller model; consider the S10+ if its larger screen and extra rear camera matter more.
Which Galaxy Tab S10 do you mean?
Samsung announced the premium Galaxy Tab S10 generation as the S10+ and S10 Ultra on September 27, 2024. The S11 is an 11-inch standard model, so the S10+ is the most relevant named comparison, not a same-size predecessor. The S10 Ultra is a larger 14.6-inch tier. Samsung also sells S10 FE family tablets; those are separate models, not alternate names for the premium S10+.

The display resolutions should be read alongside screen size: the S10+ has more pixels and a larger panel, while the S11’s smaller screen makes it the more compact option. Samsung’s video figures are manufacturer estimates, not results from an independent head-to-head battery test; actual runtime varies with use and conditions. The software entries describe current listing and launch context, not how long either tablet will continue receiving updates.

What the differences mean in everyday use
Screen size versus portability
The 12.4-inch S10+ gives more room for split-screen work, documents, drawing, or video. The 11-inch S11 is easier to carry and handle as a standard-size tablet. The right choice depends more on preferred screen area and portability than on comparing resolution figures alone.

Newer processor, but no established performance lead
Samsung lists the Dimensity 9400+ in the S11 and the Dimensity 9300+ in the S10+. That identifies a newer processor generation in the S11, but the available specifications do not establish a measured speed difference. Do not assume a particular gaming, multitasking, or battery-performance gain from the chip names alone.

Camera configuration
The S10+ adds an 8 MP ultra-wide rear camera alongside its 13 MP main camera; the S11’s listed rear camera is 13 MP. This is a concrete hardware difference, though the importance of a second tablet rear camera depends on whether you use a tablet for photography or scanning.

Pen, durability, storage, and software
Both include an S Pen and carry an IP68 rating in Samsung’s US material. A keyboard is a separate accessory, and what a seller bundles can vary. Samsung lists larger microSD capacity support for the S11 than the S10+ in its current US comparison; verify compatibility and the limit for your exact regional model. The S11’s current software listing and the S10+’s launch software version are not a direct measure of remaining update support.

Choose the Galaxy Tab S11 if…
- You want the newer standard-size model and prefer an 11-inch tablet.
- You specifically want the S11’s listed processor and current software generation.
- You want the storage expansion limit Samsung lists for the S11, after confirming the regional model.
Consider the Galaxy Tab S10+ if…
- A 12.4-inch display is more useful than a smaller, more portable tablet.
- You want the additional rear ultra-wide camera.
- The exact S10+ configuration is available at a price that makes sense for you; current prices and stock are not established here.
Check the exact model before buying
Compare the full model name, storage capacity, and Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity for the listings you are considering. “Galaxy Tab S10” can refer loosely to a generation, but the premium models are S10+ and S10 Ultra, while S10 FE and FE+ are distinct devices. If you are considering the Ultra, treat its 14.6-inch screen as a larger size tier rather than a direct alternative to the 11-inch S11. Confirm regional specifications, seller bundles, and current price before checkout.
