How the size and display compare

Battery capacity is not a battery-life test
PhoneArena lists 4,300 mAh for the Galaxy S26 and 7,300 mAh for the OnePlus 15. The OnePlus therefore has substantially more stated battery capacity. Samsung’s US shop showed the 256GB Galaxy S26 at $899.99, reduced from a displayed $999.99, when checked (Samsung US listing). This is a US listing at a particular point in time, not a global or permanent price. No equivalent current official OnePlus price was established for a direct live-price comparison. Retail prices can differ by country, storage, promotion, trade-in and date.
Camera specifications: what they do and do not tell you
Samsung’s US specifications list a 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto rear-camera setup. TechRadar lists the OnePlus 15 with 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP 3x zoom cameras (TechRadar’s Android phone guide). Megapixel counts and lens labels describe hardware, not image quality. Without comparable photo and video testing, the specifications do not establish a camera winner.

Choose the Galaxy S26 if compact size comes first
