That is a comparison of page prices, not a guaranteed like-for-like saving: the storage tiers and terms may differ. Samsung’s cited UK specifications confirm the S24 FE’s screen, weight and cameras, but the available official sources do not establish enough S25 hardware details for a complete spec-by-spec verdict.
How the displayed prices compare
On Samsung’s US purchase page, the Galaxy S25 was listed at $799.99 for 128GB and $899.99 for 256GB when accessed on October 7, 2026. Samsung’s US S24 FE product page showed a starting price of $649.99 before eligible trade-in on that date. Subtracting the two starting prices gives a displayed difference of $150.

This is not proof that the S25 costs exactly $150 more under comparable buying conditions. The S24 FE page’s starting price does not establish its 256GB price, and the listed amounts may be affected by offers, trade-in eligibility, carrier terms, or changes since the snapshot. Samsung’s March 2026 US MSRP list separately gives $649.99 for the unlocked S24 FE 8/128GB. Galaxy S24 FE cameras
For the UK 256GB product variant, Samsung lists three rear cameras: 50MP, 12MP, and 8MP, with 3x optical zoom specified. The front camera is listed at 10MP. These figures describe camera hardware, not a guarantee of image quality in every situation.
Galaxy S25 specification comparison
The official sources cited here do not provide a sufficiently detailed S25 hardware specification set to verify a direct comparison of display, weight, chipset, cameras, battery, charging, dimensions, or software support. A complete table or performance ranking would therefore overstate what is established. Check Samsung’s specifications for the exact regional model you are considering before comparing those features.

How to make a fair buying comparison
- Match storage: Compare the same capacity for both phones; the observed S25 prices cover 128GB and 256GB, while the S24 FE page’s $649.99 starting price does not establish a matching 256GB price.
- Check the terms: Confirm whether each live price requires trade-in, a carrier plan, or another promotion, and compare devices in the same condition.
- Confirm the regional variant: The cited S24 FE screen and camera specifications come from Samsung UK, while the prices are US listings. Regional configurations and network compatibility should be checked for your market.
- Verify the features that matter to you: Look up official specifications for both exact models before judging performance, battery life, charging, software support, or camera differences.
What Samsung’s positioning does—and does not—establish
Samsung Electronics described the S24 FE as designed to bring “flagship-level performance, advanced camera capabilities, and Galaxy AI to more people.” That is the manufacturer’s product-positioning language, not an independent head-to-head performance finding.
