The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the larger phone and adds an integrated S Pen plus separate 3× and 5× optical telephoto cameras. Google’s Pixel 11 is smaller and lists a 5× telephoto camera, a 30× Super Zoom specification and Qi2.2 wireless charging. A current price difference cannot be established from the official pages reviewed: Samsung’s $1,299.99 figure is the S24 Ultra’s US starting launch price from 2024, while Google’s Pixel 11 comparison page lists no price.
Price difference: what can be compared now?
There is no verified current price difference to report. Samsung announced a US starting price of $1,299.99 in 2024 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB configurations. That is a historical launch MSRP, not a current selling price. Google’s official Pixel comparison page lists Pixel 11 specifications but no price, launch date or purchase availability. Samsung’s January 17, 2024 US announcement and Google’s Pixel comparison page therefore do not establish a like-for-like current comparison.

To calculate a meaningful difference, check prices from the same country and date, for the same seller type and condition, and for identical or closest storage tiers. Include whether each phone is unlocked or carrier-specific and whether required charging accessories are included. Samsung notes that storage and availability can vary by carrier, country or region, so the US launch details should not be generalized globally.

#1 Best Overall
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
How the screens and size differ
Galaxy S24 Ultra: larger, higher-resolution panel
Samsung lists a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 1–120 Hz refresh rate. Its larger diagonal gives more screen area for reading, video and stylus work, but comfort and one-handed reach depend on the user and should be checked in person.
Pixel 11: more compact listed display
Google lists a 6.3-inch Actua OLED screen at 1080 × 2424 resolution, with a 60–120 Hz refresh rate. The smaller diagonal is the clearest listed size distinction; the specifications alone do not establish brightness, outdoor visibility or which screen looks better.

Camera hardware: lens roles matter more than megapixels
Galaxy S24 Ultra
Samsung lists a 200 MP wide camera, 12 MP ultrawide camera, and distinct 50 MP 5× and 10 MP 3× optical telephoto cameras. That gives the S24 Ultra two dedicated optical telephoto ranges in its published hardware.

Pixel 11
Google lists a 48 MP wide camera, 13 MP ultrawide camera and 10.8 MP 5× telephoto, along with Super Zoom up to 30×. The zoom figure is a manufacturer specification, not proof that distant subjects will retain the detail of optical zoom.

Megapixel counts and zoom labels cannot establish which phone takes better photos. No controlled comparative photo test is available here, so choose based on the camera roles you expect to use rather than treating resolution as a quality score.
Performance, memory and storage
The S24 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and has 12 GB RAM, with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage options listed by Samsung. Google lists Pixel 11 with Tensor G6 and 12 GB RAM; the Pixel comparison entry shown is the 256 GB version. These component listings do not determine comparative speed in everyday use or demanding apps; no controlled benchmark comparison is established.

Battery and charging differences
Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical S24 Ultra battery capacity and 4,855 mAh rated minimum. Google lists Pixel 11 at 4,985 mAh typical and 4,840 mAh minimum. The capacities are close, but they do not predict equal endurance: screen use, network conditions, software and other factors affect battery life.

S Pen, software and support
Samsung’s integrated S Pen
The S24 Ultra has an integrated S Pen. Samsung’s support guide describes using it with Samsung Notes, searching in Samsung Internet and replying to messages. This is a concrete reason to favor the Samsung model if handwritten notes or stylus interaction are important to your routine.
Software features and update commitments
Google’s comparison page lists Tensor G6 and Gemini features for Pixel 11. Samsung identifies Galaxy AI and says the S24 series receives seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates; Samsung notes that availability and timing can vary by model and market. Feature names do not by themselves establish which software experience is better.
Quick Recap
Which phone fits which buyer?
- Choose the S24 Ultra if you want a 6.8-inch display, an integrated stylus, two distinct optical telephoto cameras, or storage options up to 1 TB.
- Consider Pixel 11 if you prefer the listed 6.3-inch display, a 5× telephoto with a 30× Super Zoom specification, or Qi2.2 Pixelsnap wireless charging.
- Compare cameras by use case rather than megapixel count: Samsung lists separate 3× and 5× optical telephotos, while Google lists a 5× telephoto and Super Zoom up to 30×.
- Check hands-on size if portability or one-handed use matters; screen diagonal is not a substitute for trying the device in your hand.
- Compare exact offers before deciding on value, since current prices and a verified Pixel 11 purchase price are not established by the official pages cited here.
