The Galaxy S24 5G is Samsung’s higher-tier phone, while the Galaxy A37 is a 2026 midrange 5G model. The A37’s official specifications include a larger 6.7-inch display and 5,000 mAh typical battery; the S24 comparison needs to account for its exact model and regional variant. A definitive price difference cannot be stated without a current S24 price for the same country and storage tier. Samsung US listed the A37 at $449.99 for 128 GB and $569.99 for 256 GB on October 4, 2026.

What the specifications mean for choosing
Display and size
The A37 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. That gives it a clearly stated large-screen specification, but it does not by itself establish which display looks better: the exact S24 variant’s panel details and your preference for screen size matter.

Cameras
The A37’s rear setup combines a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide and a 5 MP macro camera. The S24 should be compared by its available lenses, stabilization and zoom capabilities, not by a megapixel-versus-megapixel shortcut. These specifications do not establish real-world photo quality, and no comparative camera test is available here.
Battery, weight and storage
Samsung lists the A37 battery at 5,000 mAh typical and its weight at 196 g. Capacity alone cannot predict endurance, which also depends on usage and other hardware. Samsung US lists two memory/storage combinations—6 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB—and says the A37 does not support external memory cards. Confirm local S24 storage options before comparing value.

Samsung Galaxy A37 price and the unresolved S24 price difference
For the United States, Samsung’s unlocked A37 listing showed $449.99 for 128 GB and $569.99 for 256 GB when checked October 4, 2026; prices and stock can change. The US listing says the box includes a data cable and SIM-ejection pin but no charger.
Samsung Newsroom Korea announced a ₩598,400 Korean launch price for the A37 on June 18, 2026. That is a country-specific launch price, not a current US price or a universal conversion basis. Samsung announced A37 availability from April 10, 2026 in select markets, while Samsung Korea separately announced domestic release on June 19, 2026; regional availability and configurations vary.

These figures do not establish how much more or less the S24 costs. A fair price comparison requires a current S24 price from the same country, the same seller or comparable sales conditions, and an appropriate storage configuration. Without those matched details, there is no reliable universal price difference or price winner to report.
Which phone is better?
Choose based on the features and local offer that matter most. The A37 is the specs-led choice if you want its documented 6.7-inch 120 Hz display, 5,000 mAh typical battery, three rear camera modules, or Samsung’s stated A-series update commitment. The S24 may be the better fit if its specific configuration offers features you value more, but this comparison does not establish real-world performance, image quality, battery life, or an across-the-board winner. Compare current local prices and the exact variants before buying.
