Samsung-announced launch prices in March 2026 were ₹13,999 and ₹15,499, respectively; a live price for 4 October 2026 is not established here. The phone’s headline specifications include a 6.7-inch-class HD+ PLS LCD with up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 6,000mAh typical battery, and Android 16 with One UI 8.0.
Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G price in India and variants
Samsung Newsroom India announced the following launch prices in March 2026. These are launch figures, not confirmed selling prices for 4 October 2026.

The 6GB configuration launched ₹1,500 above the 4GB model. The available specifications establish a RAM difference, but do not establish a real-world performance difference between the two. Current prices, discounts, stock and seller terms have not been verified; check the live listing before buying.

Display and design
Samsung lists a 17.13 cm (6.7-inch-class) full-rectangle display with 720 × 1600 HD+ resolution, PLS LCD technology, 16 million colours and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The rounded-corner viewable diagonal is 16.73 cm. These are specification figures; they do not by themselves establish how smooth or bright the screen appears in everyday use.

Processor, memory and storage
The Galaxy M17e 5G is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor. Samsung gives CPU speeds of 2.4GHz and 2GHz. The India configurations are 4GB RAM / 128GB storage and 6GB RAM / 128GB storage.

On the 4GB product listing, Samsung states that 108.1GB of the 128GB is available storage and documents microSD expansion up to 2TB. Available internal capacity can vary with software and use. The microSD card uses the hybrid SIM 2/microSD slot, so using a card means that slot is occupied by storage rather than a second SIM.
Rear and front cameras
The rear camera setup is 50MP + 2MP, with f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures, autofocus and digital zoom up to 10x. Samsung lists no optical image stabilisation (OIS). The front camera is 8MP with an f/2.0 aperture and no autofocus.

Video recording is listed at FHD (1920 × 1080) at 30fps, with HD slow motion at 120fps. These specifications do not establish photo or video quality in particular lighting or shooting conditions.
Battery and charging
Samsung rates the non-removable battery at 6,000mAh typical capacity and 5,830mAh rated minimum. Capacity alone does not establish a specific runtime: Samsung says actual battery life varies with network, usage and other factors.

Software and update commitment
Samsung’s product material identifies Android 16 and One UI 8.0. Samsung promises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from the phone’s first global launch date.

SIM, 5G and connectivity
The phone supports dual Nano-SIM, with SIM 1 and a hybrid SIM 2/microSD slot. Samsung lists these 5G Sub-6 bands on its 4GB India product page: N1, N3, N5, N7, N8, N26, N28, N66, N40, N41, N77 and N78. Network band support and service availability can vary by region and provider.
