The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is the clearer choice if you want a built-in pen for handwriting and quick notes. The Moto G86 Power appeared ₹2,725 cheaper in a 91mobiles price snapshot, but its specifications conflict with Motorola’s official Moto G86 5G page on key details, including battery capacity and storage. Treat that comparison as provisional and verify the exact Indian SKU before buying.
At a glance: Edge 60 Stylus vs Moto G86 Power
The table distinguishes the Edge 60 Stylus’s India-market specifications from Motorola’s official Moto G86 5G page and 91mobiles’ separate G86 Power listing. The G86 5G page does not establish that its figures apply to every G86 Power configuration.

Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose Edge 60 Stylus for pen-based notes
Its built-in stylus is the clearest meaningful distinction. Motorola’s guide describes using it for Moto Note, configurable shortcuts, sketches, screenshots and handwriting calculations. That makes the Edge 60 Stylus the better-supported fit for annotating or jotting something down without carrying a separate pen. The G86 Power should not be assumed to include a stylus: Motorola’s official G86 5G specifications do not list one.

Consider G86 Power if the verified battery configuration is your priority
The available records do not establish one dependable G86 Power battery figure: Motorola’s G86 5G page gives 5,200mAh and 30W, while 91mobiles’ Power entry gives 6,720mAh and 33W. Do not use the larger third-party figure as a confirmed reason to buy until it matches the specific listing and regional model number you plan to purchase.

Edge 60 Stylus has the stronger documented charging options
Motorola lists 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support for the Edge 60 Stylus. The G86 5G support page lists 30W wired charging, while 91mobiles gives 33W for G86 Power. Neither G86 record documents wireless charging in the specifications cited here.
Display claims are close, but the G86 Power match is unconfirmed
Both official support pages describe a 6.67-inch, high-resolution display with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Motorola specifies pOLED for the Edge 60 Stylus and AMOLED for Moto G86 5G. Since that G86 page does not identify itself as the Power configuration, its screen details should not automatically be attributed to every G86 Power SKU.
What is the price difference in India?
In the 91mobiles comparison snapshot retrieved on 4 October 2026, the Edge 60 Stylus was listed at ₹20,560 on Amazon and the Moto G86 Power at ₹17,835 on Amazon. That pair makes the G86 Power ₹2,725 cheaper at that snapshot; it is a third-party listing comparison, not a fixed price or a like-for-like official Motorola price check (91mobiles comparison).

Motorola’s Edge-family listing separately displayed ₹20,999 for Edge 60 Stylus against an MRP of ₹28,999 when retrieved. The listing did not provide a comparable official G86 Power price, so the ₹2,725 difference should not be treated as a current guaranteed saving (Motorola India). Check the live seller price, selected configuration, delivery location and warranty terms before checkout.

Motorola’s official specifications page is titled Moto G86 5G, not Moto G86 Power. Its listed processor, 256GB storage, 5,200mAh battery and 30W charging differ from 91mobiles’ G86 Power comparison entry, which gives Dimensity 7400, 128GB, 6,720mAh and 33W. Those records should remain separate rather than being blended into a single specification sheet.
91mobiles also reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 3,015 for Edge 60 Stylus and 2,915 for G86 Power, plus PCMark battery durations of 8h 50m and 11h 06m respectively. These are that site’s reported results; the available comparison does not provide enough methodology to reproduce or independently validate them. Treat them as attributed test figures, not a guarantee of performance or real-world battery life (91mobiles comparison).
Quick Recap
What to verify before ordering
- Match the exact model name and model number in the seller listing to the phone being compared; do not assume Moto G86 5G specifications apply to G86 Power.
- Check the processor, internal storage, battery capacity and charging rate on the selected SKU’s product page or packaging.
- Confirm whether the advertised price applies to the desired RAM/storage configuration and whether discounts, seller or delivery terms have changed.
- Motorola notes that specifications can vary by market; check the India-specific listing and warranty terms for your purchase (Moto G86 5G specifications; Edge 60 Stylus specifications).
