Yes—Samsung Galaxy users can join a FaceTime call if someone using an Apple device creates and shares a FaceTime link. How to join a FaceTime call on a Samsung Galaxy
An Apple user must create the FaceTime link and send it to you. Once you have it, join from your Galaxy phone using the following steps:

- Ask the Apple user to create and share a FaceTime link.
- Open the link in the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your Galaxy phone.
- Enter the name you want displayed in the call and continue.
- If prompted, allow the browser to use your microphone and camera.
- Tap Join and wait for the host to admit you. Use the Leave control when you want to exit.

This is a way to join someone else’s FaceTime call, not a way to start one from the Galaxy phone. You need the Apple user’s link, and the host controls admission to the call.

The web call also does not include every feature available in Apple’s FaceTime app. Apple states: “SharePlay and screen sharing aren’t available in FaceTime on the web.” If either feature is essential, arrange to use a different video-calling option that supports it.

- Open the link in the latest Chrome or Edge rather than another browser.
- Check that the Galaxy has a reliable Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection.
- If the browser asks, allow microphone and camera access.

Galaxy video-call alternatives to FaceTime
If the call does not have to use FaceTime, Google Meet is Samsung’s primary built-in alternative in its support guidance. Samsung says Meet can be opened in its app and, on supported configurations, accessed through the Phone app’s video-call interface. Menus and availability can vary with the Galaxy model, carrier, and software version. Samsung also lists WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype, and Snapchat as other video-call options.

Before choosing an app, check that the other person can use it and whether the call needs an invitation link. Also consider whether you want a standalone app or a supported Galaxy Phone app integration, and whether the features you need—particularly screen sharing or SharePlay—are available. The web-based FaceTime option does not have feature parity with FaceTime on Apple devices.
