Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
vivo lists a typical 7,050mAh battery and 44W charging for the S2. Samsung lists a typical 5,000mAh battery for the A37, but the cited announcement does not specify its charging wattage. Camera differences: more lenses versus higher selfie resolution
The A37 lists three rear cameras: a 50MP wide, 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro. The S2 lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. For front cameras, the S2’s stated 32MP exceeds the A37’s 12MP. Those counts describe hardware, not results: there is no verified side-by-side camera test here, so they cannot establish which phone takes better photos or selfies.
Software and long-term support
Samsung says supported Galaxy devices receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates from first global launch. The company qualifies availability and timing by model and market. The cited vivo S2 page lists OriginOS 6 but does not state a support duration. That difference in published information is not proof that vivo offers no support; check the support terms for the exact market and variant before buying.

Price difference: compare in the same market
Samsung announced a U.S. starting price of $449.99 for the Galaxy A37 5G in 2026, with U.S. availability beginning April 9, 2026. This is launch-announcement pricing, not a verified current offer. The vivo India E-Store displayed ₹42,999 for the selected S2 8GB+128GB variant on October 7, 2026; it also listed an 8GB+256GB option. Prices are market-specific and can change, so these U.S. and India figures cannot be subtracted to produce a meaningful price difference. - Compare local listings before deciding. The available price points are from different countries and do not establish which phone costs less where you live.
Neither spec sheet settles camera quality, real-world battery endurance or performance. Those require comparable testing, and no controlled head-to-head results are established here.
