The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G has the higher-resolution AMOLED display and a more varied listed rear-camera setup; OPPO’s Spain-listed A6 models have a larger stated battery and support faster charging. The performance comparison depends on which OPPO A6 you mean: the standard A6 and A6 5G use different processors. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from comparative tests.
There is no single universal “OPPO A6” configuration. OPPO Spain lists the 4G A6 (CPH2817) and the 5G A6 5G (CPH2831) separately. The figures below use those Spain listings; specifications and availability can differ by market.

Samsung figures come from its June 25, 2026 announcement. OPPO figures are from its Spain specification pages for the A6 and A6 5G. Storage, network bands and configurations depend on market. Battery capacity and charging ratings are manufacturer specifications, not measurements of runtime or charge time.

Which phone has the better display?
On the published specifications, the Galaxy A27 5G has the stronger display: Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel, while both OPPO Spain A6 pages list a slightly larger 6.75-inch HD+ LCD. All three are specified for refresh rates up to 120 Hz.

The panel type and resolution are the main distinction: Samsung specifies AMOLED and FHD+, whereas OPPO specifies LCD and HD+. That indicates a specification advantage for Samsung, but it is not a measured comparison of brightness, colour accuracy or outdoor visibility.
Which has the longer battery life?
OPPO lists a 6,550 mAh typical battery for both Spain models, compared with 5,000 mAh typical for the Galaxy A27 5G. OPPO also lists support for up to 45 W SUPERVOOC charging, versus Samsung’s 25 W charging specification.

Those numbers favour OPPO for stated capacity and maximum supported charging power, but they do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use or how quickly either one charges. Screen settings, network conditions, workload and compatible charging equipment affect those outcomes; no comparable runtime or charging-time test is established here.

Which camera is better?
Samsung lists a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside a 5 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro camera. OPPO lists a 50 MP autofocus main camera and a 2 MP monochrome camera on both A6 models. Samsung also lists a higher-resolution front camera: 12 MP compared with OPPO’s 8 MP.

Samsung therefore offers more listed rear-camera options and OIS on its main camera. Resolution, stabilization and camera count alone cannot show which phone takes better photos; the manufacturer specifications do not provide a controlled image comparison.
Which phone is faster?
The Galaxy A27 5G uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. OPPO’s standard A6 uses the Snapdragon 685, while the A6 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. The standard A6 is listed as a 4G model; the A6 5G adds 5G connectivity and has a different processor.

There is no comparable benchmark or sustained-use test here to establish a real-world speed winner. For a fair comparison, first confirm whether the OPPO listing is CPH2817 or CPH2831; then look for independent testing of those exact regional configurations rather than inferring speed from model names alone.

Which offers the longer software support?
Samsung says the Galaxy A27 5G will receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates, counted from its initial global launch. Android 16 and One UI 8.5 are listed for the phone.

The consulted OPPO Spain specification pages list ColorOS 15 but do not state a support duration. That omission is not evidence that OPPO offers no software support; it means these pages do not provide an equivalent duration promise for comparison.
What do the water-resistance ratings mean?
Samsung lists IP64. OPPO’s Spain pages display IP68 and say the products met IP69 water-ingress testing requirements, while explaining that the regulatory display is capped at IP68 under EU labelling rules. These are manufacturer-stated ratings and testing claims, not a guarantee against damage or a statement about warranty coverage.
