The headline describes a session in which the S&P 500 changed little while Micron Technology led a decline in technology shares. No accessible authoritative account of that October 12 session was found to confirm those claims. A Wyckoff Stock Market Institute blog excerpt describes a separate June 22, 2026 update involving technology-stock declines and SpaceX weighing on the S&P 500 (Wyckoff SMI blog). Osoul Misr’s January 12, 2026 report describes a different session in which the S&P 500 recovered toward unchanged after reaching session lows (Osoul Misr report). Neither verifies the October headline or its market drivers.
