What can be said about cleaning performance?
RYOBI describes the vacuum as suitable for carpet and hard floors. Its New Zealand listing names hard floors, rugs, tiles, carpet, upholstery and vinyl, and describes two suction settings, an LED light and an interlocking hinge that lets the unit stand on a flat surface.
RYOBI Australia’s 6 December 2022 video description says the vacuum’s performance is backed by cyclonic filtration that “collects 99.9% of allergens.” That is a manufacturer claim; independent validation of the figure is not established here. CHOICE’s public listing includes test categories, but its detailed members-only performance results are not available in the surfaced listing. As a result, there is no supported verdict here on measured pickup, edge cleaning, noise or floor-by-floor results.

How long does the Ryobi stick vacuum battery last?
RYOBI’s 6 December 2022 video description advertises up to 55 minutes of runtime with a ONE+ 4.0Ah battery. The kit includes a 4Ah battery, but that advertised maximum is a manufacturer claim, not an independently confirmed runtime. The available evidence does not give actual runtime by suction setting or test conditions, so treat it as an upper-bound claim rather than a guaranteed cleaning session.
Filter and roller maintenance
RYOBI support says regular cleaning of the dust cup, filter, filtration system and roller bars is needed for maximum performance. Its filter-cleaning instructions say to remove the filter, wash it with soapy water and let it dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling. Allow for that drying time before planning to use the vacuum again.
