For the ranking updated October 5, 2026, Pocket Gamer places heroes in four tiers—S, A, B and C—for game version 2.2.135. The list is an editorial ranking, not an official game ranking: Pocket Gamer does not publish its scoring method. Use it as a starting point, then consider a hero’s abilities and how they fit your team.
How to read the Rumble Heroes tier list
Pocket Gamer’s list describes four rarities—Legendary, Epic, Rare and Uncommon—but says rarity alone does not determine a hero’s value. A lower-rarity hero may still rank well when their abilities work effectively with a team. The page offers tier placement, hero ability or role, and team synergy as comparison points; it does not provide a systematic ranking by game mode, progression stage or specific team build.

The hero descriptions below are Pocket Gamer’s, not independently verified gameplay tests. Because no scoring method is supplied, a tier is best treated as that publication’s overall judgment rather than a guarantee that a hero will be strongest for every player.

Name inconsistencies to keep in mind
The list includes several similar or inconsistent names: God Hand Sita and Godhand Sita appear separately in S tier; Bomber Kid and Bomber Kidd appear separately in A tier; Pathfinder Erwen and Pathfinder Arwen appear separately in A tier; and Manager Caroline in S tier differs from Manager Carolyn in B tier. The page does not clarify whether these are distinct heroes, spelling variations or listing errors.

Pocket Gamer calls its list a ranking of all playable heroes, but it does not publish a unique-hero count or a roster audit. Because of those name inconsistencies, the entries should not be treated as a verified count of distinct playable heroes.
