The Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro is best understood as a discounted, feature-rich robot vacuum and mop for mixed-floor homes—not a bargain pick for everyone. Roborock’s US listing advertised it at $549.99, down from a displayed $799.99, when checked in October 2026. Independent testing found strong cleaning and especially capable mopping for the price, but noted imperfect hard-floor pickup, a relatively tall body, and limits on carpet-only homes and difficult thresholds.
What the Qrevo 2 Pro is—and what its price buys
The Qrevo 2 Pro combines vacuuming and mopping with a multifunction dock and rotating mop modules. Roborock’s US product page lists 20,000 Pa HyperForce suction, a dual anti-tangle system, a reversible side brush, and automatic mop detachment for carpet care. These are manufacturer specifications and feature descriptions, not independent performance measurements. The page’s listed dimensions are 13.86 × 13.78 × 3.80 inches for the robot and 15.83 × 19.45 × 17.72 inches for the robot and dock. Roborock US product listing

At the time of the October 2026 check, Roborock’s US store showed $549.99 with $799.99 struck through. That is a time-sensitive US price snapshot, not a guaranteed ongoing discount. TechRadar described a $799.99 US list price and a discount around $549 shortly after launch, calling the lower price more compelling. TechRadar’s September 28, 2026 review

“Budget” is relative: this is a discounted mid-range-to-premium-style combination unit, not the cheapest way to automate vacuuming. Its value depends on whether you will use its mop system and dock as well as its vacuum. If you only want routine vacuum pickup, paying for the mopping hardware may not make sense.

How well does it clean?
TechRadar tested the Qrevo 2 Pro for more than two weeks in a busy household. The reviewer used rice and tea to assess fine and larger debris on carpet and hard floors, checked edge cleaning, and mopped a soy sauce spill and dried ketchup on standard and maximum settings. The review reported strong cleaning for the price and particularly favorable mopping, while also finding that hard-floor pickup was not flawless. Those are TechRadar’s observations, not a guarantee of results in every home.
Tom’s Guide also published a hands-on review describing reliable performance at a mid-range price. Its search-result summary says one reviewer needed two passes for mopping compared with heated-mop flagship models; that limited summary is not enough to establish a universal two-pass requirement. Roborock’s US overview presents the model for homes with carpets, pet hair, and everyday mess. That intended use should not be confused with proof that it outperforms other robots on every surface or with every type of debris. The 20,000 Pa figure is the US manufacturer-listed suction specification; Roborock’s global overview has shown a different 25,000 Pa figure, so regional listing matters. Suction numbers alone do not establish comparative pickup. Roborock US overview
Carpets, pet hair, and furniture clearance
Carpets and keeping them dry
Roborock says the dock automatically detaches the mop modules for carpet use, a design intended to avoid dragging damp mop pads over carpet. It is not the same as lifting an attached mop over carpet, and the feature is a manufacturer claim rather than independent proof that every carpet stays dry in every setup. Check the current app and firmware instructions for how carpet handling is enabled and configured.

Pet hair and brush upkeep
The dual anti-tangle system is intended to reduce hair wrapping, but the listing does not establish that the robot is maintenance-free or give an independently verified hair-pickup rate. Homes with shedding pets should expect to inspect brushes and the dock periodically. The precise frequency will depend on hair volume, floor type, and cleaning schedule.
Low furniture and thresholds
At 3.80 inches tall according to Roborock’s listed robot dimensions, it may not fit beneath low furniture. Measure the actual clearance at the tightest point, allowing some margin rather than relying on a nominal sofa height. TechRadar also characterized it as relatively tall and cautioned that it is not built for complex terrain or high thresholds. Homes with abrupt floor transitions should check those obstacles rather than assume it will cross them.

Dock, app, and ownership details to verify
The US box contents listed by Roborock are the robot, multifunctional dock, dock base, power cable, one set of rotating mop modules, and user manual. The official overview describes LiDAR navigation, app controls, and marking target areas for re-mopping. Roborock notes that some features require manual app enablement and that one feature is expected through an upcoming over-the-air update. App behavior can therefore vary by firmware; verify the feature is currently available in your region before buying on its promise.

The product listing does not establish the maintenance interval or ongoing consumable cost. Before purchase, check the current official parts documentation for model-specific mop pads, dust bags, filters, brushes, and cleaning solution; compatibility should not be inferred from generic listings. Warranty and service terms also vary by market, so consult the terms applicable where you live.
Who should consider it?
- Good candidate: A household with both hard floors and carpets that expects to use mopping and values a multifunction dock, provided the current delivered price is attractive.
- Less compelling: A carpet-only home, where TechRadar found the value case weaker, or a household that wants only inexpensive vacuuming.
- Check carefully first: Homes with low-clearance furniture, high thresholds, or complex floor transitions. The reviewer’s caveats and the listed height make these practical fit questions, not minor details.
- Compare before choosing: Look at delivered price, pickup on your own floor types, mop detachment or lifting, hair maintenance, dock upkeep and consumables, furniture clearance, threshold handling, app features, and local warranty terms. Do not use suction Pa as a substitute for cleaning results.
Verdict
The Qrevo 2 Pro earns consideration as a value-oriented combined vacuum and mop when its US price is near the roughly $549 level reported in October 2026 and the buyer will make use of its mop and dock. Independent review evidence supports strong overall cleaning for the price and particularly good mopping, but it does not erase the concerns about height, imperfect hard-floor pickup, carpet-only value, or difficult thresholds. Treat it as a mixed-floor convenience purchase, not a universally cheap or maintenance-free vacuum.
