Nintendo lists it as a digital game released November 27, 2025. HAMSTER’s Console Archives page listed Chack’n Pop as available October 1, 2026, when checked October 7, 2026.
Why the Console Archives claim is incorrect
The names refer to separate games and series. Nintendo’s US store listing for RippleIsland Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant identifies it as a Nintendo Switch 2 digital game developed and published by SUNSOFT. It gives the release date as November 27, 2025.

By contrast, HAMSTER’s official Console Archives page listed Console Archives Chack’n Pop as available October 1, 2026. That was the latest dated game announcement shown on the page on October 7, 2026. The supplied claim appears to conflate Ripple Island with the Console Archives series.
What you do in RippleIsland Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant
The game centers on a cooking tournament called by King Dotella. Players work with animal characters on Ripple Island, gathering ingredients by growing vegetables, catching fish, and collecting eggs, then cooking and serving dishes. Nintendo describes both solo operation and cooperative stages in which players can delegate roles.

How solo, local, and online play differ
| Play option | Players | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | One player | Nintendo describes a mode where you run the operation alone. |
| Same-system multiplayer | 1–4 players | Nintendo’s US listing gives the maximum as four players on one system. Each multiplayer participant needs a compatible controller; additional controllers may be required. |
| Online multiplayer | 1–16 players | The maximum comes from Nintendo’s US listing. Online play requires a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. |
Player counts and product details can vary by regional store listing. Nintendo’s regional product information also notes the compatible-controller requirement and the membership requirement for online play.
