To improve Riders Republic performance on PC, first check whether your hardware matches Ubisoft’s target for your resolution, then compare the in-game benchmark before and after changing a few graphics settings. There is no verified universal “best settings” preset or guaranteed FPS gain: the useful result is the balance your own PC delivers in the scenes you play.
Check whether your PC matches your resolution target
Ubisoft’s system requirements, updated June 29, 2026, give separate configurations for different resolutions and frame-rate targets. Treat them as publisher targets, not independent benchmark results or a guarantee for every scene, patch, or PC. A mismatch is a diagnostic clue, not proof that it causes a particular stutter.

Ubisoft notes that laptop graphics cards may work if their performance is similar to the minimum requirements. The Windows 10/11 specification is explicitly stated for the first two configurations; the 1440p and 2160p entries list CPU, GPU, memory, DirectX, and storage without a separate operating-system line.

Use the in-game benchmark for a fair comparison
Ubisoft’s PC troubleshooting guidance confirms that Riders Republic includes an in-game benchmark that tests the game with your current settings. Use it to compare changes rather than guessing from a single moment of gameplay.
- Choose the resolution and frame-rate goal you want to evaluate, and note your current graphics settings.
- Run the in-game benchmark at those settings and record its result.
- Change only a small group of settings, then run the same benchmark again under the same resolution and conditions.
- Keep the changes that improve the result without making image quality unacceptable to you; revert changes that do not help.
This controlled comparison is a practical way to use the benchmark, not a Ubisoft-published preset or promise of a particular gain. A benchmark result also may not describe every gameplay situation.

Which graphics settings should you test?
A Ubisoft-published settings guide from October 28, 2021 lists these options as settings to inspect. It does not establish current per-setting FPS savings or a reliable ranking of which options cost the most on today’s versions and hardware.

Work out whether the problem is frame rate or connectivity
Low frame rate and online connection trouble are different symptoms. If the game looks choppy or frames are uneven, compare benchmark results and graphics settings. If the problem is connection-related, use Ubisoft’s separate connectivity and PC troubleshooting guidance rather than assuming a graphics change will fix it.
Riders Republic advertises more than 50 players simultaneously on screen, according to Ubisoft’s official game page. If performance seems different during busy multiplayer play, compare it with a quieter or solo context as an observation. The player count is not evidence that multiplayer causes stuttering, and changing online presence is not an established fix.
