For measurement, inspection, and engineering
The MetroY family is positioned for professional measurement, inspection, reverse engineering, and product development. It is the family to examine if the scan is part of design verification, quality control, or engineering analysis. MetroX Pro is separately positioned for demanding industrial scanning and reverse engineering.
For large or complex objects and optical tracking
Trackit uses optical tracking and is aimed at large-object or complex-structure capture, including automotive parts, industrial components, and on-site work. Consider it when tracking is central to the scanning setup rather than assuming another family is interchangeable.

For portable scanning away from a computer
MIRACO is described as a portable, standalone scanner that can scan without a separate computer during capture. Revopoint presents it for field work, studio projects, product visualization, modeling, and preparing objects for 3D printing.
For makers and small-object capture
POP models target creative capture and 3D-printing workflows for makers, educators, and enthusiasts. MINI 2 is intended for detailed scans of small objects, while INSPIRE 2 is presented as a versatile everyday-capture option. Those descriptions help narrow the shortlist, but do not establish a performance ranking between models.

How the sale works—and what to check before checkout
- Choose the correct storefront. The October 5 announcement advertises the official-store sale for October 5–15, 2026, and the Amazon offer for October 6–7, 2026. These are the dates stated by Revopoint; verify that a discount is still shown on the live listing.
- Compare the exact model and price. Match the full model name to the offer. The sale announcement gives percentages, not a guaranteed final price, and promotions or stock may differ between channels.
- Use the code only where it applies. The announcement names REVOFSNEWS for checkout on Revopoint’s official store. It is not identified as an Amazon code.
- Read the current promotion terms. Revopoint’s sale page says promotional prices may be combined with no more than one discount code, the code must come from the store where the order is placed, and refurbished units are excluded from discount-code stacking. Check the local storefront for the current terms before paying. Open the official sale page.
- For refurbished units, confirm the specific listing and regional policy. Revopoint says refurbished scanners are tested and receive the same warranty period and return/exchange rights as new units, but current inventory and applicable policies should be confirmed for the buyer’s region.
Where Revo Scan, Revo Design, and Revo Measure fit
Revopoint describes Revo Scan as the capture and processing software, Revo Design as supporting reverse engineering and CAD reconstruction, and Revo Measure as supporting measurement, metrology, and inspection. The sale announcement also mentions a 3D Scanner SDK automation service and a Trackit remote-control version. Together, these tools suggest a scan-to-CAD or inspection workflow, but the announcement does not specify detailed model-by-model compatibility, software prices, or licensing terms. Confirm those details for the scanner and software you intend to use.
