Short answer: OneStream Live and the EMEET StreamCam One (Gen 2) have a plausible RTMP-based connection path, but the available specifications do not verify that the camera can connect directly to OneStream Live. Direct use depends on whether the camera lets you enter OneStream’s custom server URL and stream key. If it does not, OneStream documents using a computer-based encoder such as OBS Studio as an alternative.
What compatibility means in this case
Compatibility is plausible at the protocol level: OneStream Live supports RTMP encoder streaming, and EMEET lists RTMP for the specific StreamCam One (Gen 2). Those facts do not establish that the camera accepts an arbitrary RTMP destination or that this particular camera-to-OneStream setup has been tested.

OneStream’s Help Center lists RTMP, RTMPS, WHIP, and SRT as protocols for encoder streaming. Its workflow provides a server URL and stream key for the encoder to use. EMEET’s product page specifies RTMP support for the StreamCam One (Gen 2). It does not, in the cited specification, confirm that users can configure a custom server URL and key for a third-party service. That distinction is what separates shared protocol support from verified direct compatibility.

Check before trying a direct camera connection
- Confirm the exact model and firmware. The RTMP specification cited here applies to the EMEET StreamCam One (Gen 2), not all EMEET cameras or microphones.
- Look for custom RTMP destination settings. Check the camera’s app or streaming controls for fields that accept both a server URL and a stream key. A generic RTMP label alone is not enough.
- Get the matching endpoint from OneStream. In OneStream Live’s encoder-streaming settings, select a supported protocol and obtain the displayed server URL and stream key. Use the values and protocol for the same configuration.
- Run a private or local test first. Verify that video reaches the intended destination and that the audio source is audible before broadcasting publicly. The cited material does not establish a tested configuration or guarantee for particular firmware, apps, or network setups.
Use a computer-based encoder if direct RTMP is unavailable
OneStream describes a workflow in which third-party encoder software sends a stream to OneStream, which then distributes it to connected destinations. Its listed encoder options include OBS Studio, Zoom, vMix, and Wirecast; the Help Center page was last updated July 21, 2026. See OneStream’s ways to go live.
- Connect the camera to the host setup. Determine how the specific EMEET model provides video and audio to the computer or encoder. The cited sources do not verify the StreamCam One’s capture route, host requirements, or operating-system steps.
- Choose the camera and audio inputs in the encoder. Confirm the preview shows the intended camera and that the selected audio device is the one you want to use.
- Configure the encoder for OneStream. Enter the server URL and stream key supplied in OneStream’s encoder-streaming settings, using the selected protocol.
- Test before going public. Check picture, sound, and destination behavior in a private or local test appropriate to your setup, then start the public broadcast only when they are correct.
This route adds a host computer and a camera-to-host connection, but it uses the encoder as the device that sends OneStream the configured endpoint and key.

Audio: camera microphones, external mic, and encoder selection
For the StreamCam One (Gen 2) specifically, EMEET lists two built-in microphones, one wireless lapel microphone, and a 3.5 mm TRS external microphone input. EMEET says its EMEETSTREAM controls let users select external audio and set gain. These are product-page specifications, not evidence that a separate EMEET microphone connects directly to OneStream.

The audio device must be selected by whichever device or encoder actually sends the stream. OneStream’s troubleshooting guidance also calls out choosing the correct audio input and keeping audio settings consistent across the encoder and connected audio devices.
