Why a plain chair beat the gaming chairs
Corden’s argument is less about any single feature than about posture. Gaming chairs are typically built around a reclined, enveloping position. - Do you want a substantial cushioned seat, or would a mesh seat suit you better?
- Do you need adjustable lumbar support and 4D armrests, or are they extras?
- Do you need a headrest or upper back support?
- Does your desk-focused work involve an upright posture?
- Do the chair’s dimensions suit your body size and desk? The reviewed material does not establish this.
Price, capacity and where to buy
FlexiSpot UK’s chair category lists the “227kg Heavy Duty Office Chair C3” at £199.99, reduced from £249.99. Windows Central reports the same sale and prior prices in its 2026 review. Both figures are UK prices from the dates above, so confirm the live price and stock before buying, as they can change. The 227 kg capacity is a manufacturer-stated limit, not a guarantee that the chair will fit or feel comfortable for every user within that weight.
