To unlock the first Trial door in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, use Light Reveal to read the clues, then set the three pedestals from left to right to Y, C, ↑. The puzzle is in Chapter 4, “From Hell It Rose.”
Where to find the first Trial door puzzle
In Chapter 4, “From Hell It Rose,” enter the Trial room with three symbol pedestals. This is the entrance-door puzzle; later puzzles in the chapter use different mechanics, so their solutions do not apply here.

How to reveal the clues and open the door

Place the Key Sphere in the empty socket on the gilded pedestal in the middle of the room. This grants the Light Reveal ability.

Stand near a light source and activate Light Reveal. The ability works while Sophia is in the light. Use the on-screen control prompt for your platform.

Aim the sphere at the puzzle surfaces. The hidden marks and blue-green lines on the floor become visible; follow each line from a pedestal to the wall symbol it matches.

Rotate the pedestals from left to right until they show Y, C, ↑.

Wait briefly. The door opens automatically once the symbols are correct.

If the symbols are not visible

Check that Light Reveal is active and Sophia is standing in a light source.

Use the blue floor lines to match each pedestal to its wall symbol. The solution depends on those connections, rather than guessing the icons.
