- Check the publisher’s primary channels. Start with the official FAQ, the game’s website, verified social accounts and the community Discord linked from the official site.
- Look for a platform-specific announcement. A real mobile reveal should identify iOS, Android or both, name the release window or date, and provide an official store or distribution link.
- Check the uploader and URL. A re-upload, fan concept, speculative thumbnail or search-result headline is not the same as an upload from the developer or publisher.
- Separate a platform announcement from a wish. The Steam thread’s request to “play the game everywhere” is a community comment, not a release commitment.
